Hi! I’m 32 with DOR/low AMH and a Fragile X premutation. I just started my second IVF cycle, but we’re unfortunately canceling because of an international work trip.
My AFC is usually around 6-7. This cycle I did estrogen priming + a few days of Cetrotide, then 100 mg Clomid, 150 Menopur, and 150 Gonal-F. After 8 days of stims, I had ~6 follicles, but they were all still ≤6 mm and growth was extremely slow.
The frustrating part is that my previous cycle used essentially the same protocol (minus estrogen priming), and I responded really well... onsistent follicle growth, rising estrogen, and we ultimately retrieved 3 eggs.
Has anyone with DOR experienced a great response one cycle and a really poor/slow response the next? If so, did anything change that helped?
I’d also love to hear about mini-IVF/mild stimulation protocols that worked for you with DOR.
One other thing I’m wondering about: we started estrogen priming while I was still having my withdrawal bleed from my retrieval the month before. I’m wondering if we may have rushed into this cycle and if giving my body more time to recover could have made a difference.

I’m curious if anyone has looked into the correlation between eggs retrieved → mature → fertilized → blastocyst.
I had a 100% fertilization rate among my 4 mature eggs (all mature eggs fertilized and became 2PN), and I’m wondering if there’s any evidence that a high fertilization rate is a positive predictor of blast development.
I know there’s a ton of attrition between fertilization and blast and that anything can happen — I’m just curious if there’s any actual science behind this or if anyone has personal experience with a similar situation.

I’m 32 with DOR due to a Fragile X premutation. I don’t have regular cycles, have been anovulatory, and my estrogen levels are low. My recent labs showed:
LH 15.6 (higher than my usual)
FSH 23.85 (also higher than my usual)
My doctor has prescribed Cetrotide for the next 3 days before repeating labs/ultrasound and then starting stims. I understand the goal is to help manage follicle development, but this approach is new to me.
Has anyone with DOR, irregular/no cycles, or low estrogen followed a similar protocol (Cetrotide before stims)? I’d love to hear your experiences and how your cycle progressed.

I’m currently doing IVF and had my first monitoring appointment today after 4 days of stims. They measured 4 follicles, all around 2.5–3.5 mm.
At my baseline scan, my AFC was around 7–8, so I’m feeling a little discouraged and worried that I’m not responding well. I’m trying to stay positive and remind myself that it’s still really early, and with DOR, things may just take a little longer to get going.
Has anyone else had a slow start like this and gone on to have more follicles show up or become measurable later in the cycle? I’d love to hear your experiences.

Looking for some outfit ideas for a Santa Barbara courthouse wedding in November!
We’re doing a small civil ceremony + dinner with immediate family, and then a bigger wedding later in France, so I want this look to feel really special but still simple, modern, and a little different.
Not into a traditional long dress or a pantsuit, thinking mini or midi, maybe a mini skirt + tailored blazer vibe. I’m obsessed with this Daniel Frankel dress (pic attached) and also a Cult Gaia look I’d probably shorten. I also love EF Bridal and similar designers.
