Return to work transition after mat leave *[on]*

Hi everyone

Im finishing up my mat leave soon and was wondering if anyone has any tips and advice regarding the return to work transition. Im not talking abt daycare but just like yhe regular work life routine. Example.aftering being off a year i feel like there'd alot of cha nges in the company and was wondering how long dod it take for most ppl to feel like they fully adjusted to the regular work routine including getting up to speed with cha ges and system

Also did anyone struggle wirh getting up to speed on things and on-boarding etc and do you find its easier to stsrt ur work day esrly and end earlier

The two things im nervous abt is the fact that although my child is fully adjusted to daycare she is still adjusting to daycare nap schedule which means she still needs 2 naps and often times I've had to pick her up early for her second nap . Im thinking of just starting my work day early as mt husband can do drop.pff and I do pickup bit just end work a bit early . However im open to suggestions as well as mt daughter is not yet ready for 1 nap. What time dl most ppl pick.up their kofs from daycare

The second thing is dinner. Wondering what are the easiest go to week night dinner recipes and do most ppl.meal.prep in advance?

My lo is nown1 year-old and I would like to stsrt introducing snaxks at home.

Im usually out and about on weekends doing errands during snack times. Therefore do most ppl.feed snaxks in car seat or do u being those portable seats to feed shes not walking yet . I dont mind feeding snaxls in her stroller just bot sure how infield giving snacks while sitting in her car seat as shes still a messy eater.

Currently our weakening routine is breakfast at home when she wakes then I go do my errands like grocery shop etc I dont mind feeding her inside her stroller bur by the time im.home its usually closer to her nap time as shes still.on two naps per day

Daycare sickness and illness "[on]"

My lo has started daycare beginning of may and within first week she caught a cold already and it was only the transition period so few hours per day. She got bettee after a week and of course was absent but then I think she caught another illness as both my husband and I caught her sickness and had to go to the doctors office. Now she is congested again and vomiting occasionally with little appetite but is okay drinking fluids and such so im not too worried as shes not dehydrated

My question is how do parents boost or keep up their immunity . Do u all take vitamins supplements etc as im trying to prepare myself and try not to catch all her sickness and germs. Of course I understans the basics if bit sharing food and ha washing etc but curious to hear any other tips and advice

Also I know thqt sickness can last a week or so therefore how to parents manage dealing with sickness ans work . Im luckily I haven't returned to work yet but the transition is already brutal.

Last question would be what's ur daycares policy regarding sick ess and symptom ex mine says runny nose and cough is fine but no fever for 24 hrs and no vomit. I haven't sens her back yet sinxe shes vomiting once a day but her energy level is okay at home but we've been taking ot slow ans easy . I feel like she would be too fussy at daycare and would orib get sent home sinxe it'd alot ofnstimularion and shes not 100% yet assuming she still has runny nose and some congestion

Daycare naps

My kid is in the infant room at daycare 11 month and I donno what to do with naps since most kids there are doing a 2 hr nap from 1130 to 130 on one nap schedule rather than two

Her dwt is 730 am but shes overtired and cant male it to 1130 for nap 1 . My question is should I somehow find ways to move her dwt to 8am as a 3.5 hr wake window is more doable .

Looking for some.tips and advice . Technically the daycare said they will put her down whenever shes sleepy but is donno if this is true since most kids there are doing 1 nap only as they are 14/15 month old

I got offered daycare spots for September and im curious to hear what are some of yhebdeciding factors when choosing one daycare over another

I've toured both and one is newer than the other but the layout is similar for both meals are similar too with different options for allergies . Only difference is what centre serves breakfast lunch snaxks while the other doesnt serve breakfast. The teachers and classrooms seems fine but the only minor issue is one day care is slow to respond for administrative things for ex I asked for registration paper deposit fees etc and emails take forever to respond

Looking for advice on naps om the go ie stroller car etc

My lo is 10 mo th old and for most part shes always done her naps at home however shes never naps well in stroller or car seat therefore looking for advice on any tips to get them.to nap in stroller or car seat.

With the car I find she can sleep for a bit but I don't think its longer than 20 min no matter what I try same with the stroller . Does it get better ince they r older or is just depends in the baby. Also if I keep practicing once in a while will that help them to learn or ahpuld I just forget abt it altogethe

Im asking because lately im getting frustrated as sometimes irs hars to avoid when theres appts and etc ans she gets overtired . Also if she soes fall asleep.in car ors after allot of crying fussing ans then when we get home she'll always wake.up ans I cam never transfer her successfully to crib .
