Fusion 360 fillet problem on extruded SVG text

Hi everyone, I’m new to Fusion 360 and I’m trying to round the front edges of extruded SVG text for 3D printing.

I imported an SVG, extruded it into a solid, then used Modify → Fillet. The inner edges sometimes fillet correctly, but the outer edges give the error:

“The fillet/chamfer could not be created at the requested size.”

I originally thought the Arabic SVG geometry was the problem, but I tested a normal English text SVG and got the same issue.

In the screenshot I’m only selecting one outer edge, with Tangent Chain OFF, and trying a 1.5 mm fillet, but Fusion still refuses it.

Am I missing a setting or using the wrong workflow for rounding extruded SVG/text edges? I basically want a soft rounded edge around the entire front face for a 3D-printed clock.

Screenshot attached. Thanks!

Setting up Stripe for a small business in Qatar – looking for real experiences

Hi everyone,
I’m in the process of starting a small business in Qatar. Once I receive my Commercial Registration (CR), trade license, and open a business bank account, I’d like to use Stripe to accept online payments.
Has anyone here successfully set up Stripe while operating a business in Qatar? If so, I’d really appreciate hearing about:
Which bank you’re using for payouts.
Whether your account is registered directly in Qatar or through another country.
Any issues you faced during verification.
Whether Stripe works smoothly for receiving payouts.
If Stripe wasn’t an option, what payment gateway did you end up using instead?
I’m looking for real experiences from business owners rather than official documentation. Thanks in advance!

10+ years of extreme daytime sleepiness despite 8-10hrs sleep + elevated RBC/Hgb/Hct on every bloodwork — looking for anyone with similar pattern

33M, healthy weight (70kg), non-smoker. For over 10 years:

**•**	Extreme sleepiness/sleep pressure even sitting or standing — feel like I *have* to close my eyes for relief
**•**	Wake up unrefreshed no matter how much I sleep (8-10+ hrs)
**•**	Burning/watery eyes when tired, doesn’t respond to lubricating drops
**•**	Sitting or standing makes fatigue worse; lying down (especially legs up) brings relief — spend most of the day in bed even when not sleeping
**•**	Legs feel heavy/weak, like they have no strength
**•**	1-2 “good” high-energy days per month, rest is this fog
**•**	No snoring (checked via phone recordings over multiple nights), no witnessed apneas, no morning headaches, neck circumference only 36cm, normal BP (100/60), stomach sleeper

Bloodwork pattern (10 tests, 2023–2026):

**•**	RBC consistently above range (5.9–6.3 x10⁶/µL, ref 4.5–5.5)
**•**	Hgb/Hct also elevated in most tests
**•**	Vitamin D chronically low (8-21 ng/mL) despite supplementation
**•**	TSH/FT4 normal, HbA1c normal, fasting glucose normal
**•**	Never tested: EPO, fasting insulin/HOMA-IR, thyroid antibodies

Ruled out sleep apnea red flags so far, considering hypersomnia (idiopathic hypersomnia/narcolepsy without cataplexy) and orthostatic intolerance (POTS) as next possibilities. About to get a sleep study + MSLT and see an autonomic specialist. Anyone dealt with something similar? What ended up being the diagnosis?

Where can I find silicone rubber, resin, vacuum chambers, and pressure pots in Qatar?

Hi everyone,

I'm getting into resin casting and silicone mold making for product prototyping and small-scale production here in Qatar.

I'm trying to find local suppliers for:

  • Silicone rubber for mold making
  • Casting resin (epoxy or polyurethane)
  • Vacuum chambers
  • Vacuum pumps
  • Pressure pots
  • Other resin-casting materials and tools

Does anyone here work with resin, mold making, prop making, 3D printing, or product development and know where I can find these materials locally in Qatar?

I've searched online but haven't had much luck so far.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Production method for small brass button rings with rounded edge?

I’m designing a small consumer product and need to manufacture many of these brass button rings (see attached render).

The ring is approximately 14–15 mm in diameter and I need a small rounded edge/radius on the front to give it a premium feel.

My initial idea is to cut rings from brass tubing, but I’m looking for a production-friendly method that could scale to hundreds or thousands of parts.

Would you machine, form, stamp, tumble, or press these? Is there a simple die/press process suitable for small brass rings of this size?

Any manufacturing advice or examples would be greatly appreciated.
