Help me choose between two head units for my GD3 Fit, I need opinions!

the options I've found used in my (very low) price range that I'm liking are the the DPX-500BT and the DPX-503BT. (I wish I could find a 502BT a bit cheaper for that visualizer, but oh well)

the 503 is a bit cheaper but it comes out to about the same when factoring in needing to buy a wiring harness for it too, while the 500 comes with it's original one

obviously they're very similar, but appearances come into play here as well, does anyone think either would better compliment the GD3's dash?

Also if anyone has any experience with specifically either of these, I'd love to hear it!

(I'll make my choice soon so lmk quickly if you'd like to share opinions)

Fantasizing about Honda Jazz/Fit rally

I can't stop fantasizing about getting into rally with a GD2 or GD4 Honda Jazz swapped with a turbo K20A, I really feel like this car's light, well balanced characteristics could work so well in rally

perhaps someday.....

thoughts on this rear sway bar?

https://preview.redd.it/aosu4qyxf7fh1.png?width=1633&format=png&auto=webp&s=7399c775a96ae2e9efab3fb8b204b2dd4627e782

After reading the benefits and ease of install for a rear sway bar, I'm keenly interested in adding one to my 08 GD3 Sport. I see this one which is cheaper than most options on Ebay, but I worry about the quality. Has anyone had experience with one like this? would it be an acceptable option and give the stability and performance I hope for?

Serpentine belt.

God I hate my life and right now I hate the lives of the Honda engineers who designed the L15A

that bottom alternator bolt was a pain in the ass to reach, and then there's no space for decent leverage, also getting the ilder pulley in and out was a bitch too; you can't even use a ratchet wrench because there's no space. I love this car so much but let me tell you, it has now heard more curse words than it did before I started this maintenance.

also, haven't automatic tensioners been standard since like, the 80's???

thank you for coming to this complaint session

My first CRT PC monitor, and 3rd CRT overall (Dell D1028L)

Apparently this has a Trinitron picture tube, but I couldn't find much info on this online other than that it was originally sold in 1998. If anyone has more info on it that would be awesome, I'm particularly interested in original sale price.

Picture might be fuzzy on it because I didn't have any VGA devices near it and want to finish cleaning and restoring it before putting it in my room, so this is a NES over composite, then to a HDMI adapter, then to a VGA adapter lol

What exactly is output from an RF port on an old game console? Would it be possible to wire up composite audio and video from a console that doesn't have RF to an RCA jack to mod in RF output?

Honda Fit radio display replacement or repair recommendations?

hey all, the radio display in my 2008 GD3 is... well you can see in the 2nd photo... it's in sad shape.

Is there any way to fix this or any replacement available? I really like the design of the Fit radio and such (especially the circle button arrangement) so I'd prefer to replace just the screen but I'm willing to replace the whole head unit, just not a huge screen; I do not want a carplay style screen there.

Money is very much an object so please if you have any cheap advice, it would be very very appreciated!

Thank you ahead of time!
