Bars for single’s?

So I am 26, single, have a bit of social anxiety, and do have autism (lvl 1) but nobody can tell unless I told them. I’ve decided I want to start trying out going to bars to meet people. I know it won’t be a magic button. I’m going to have to put in effort, as nobody will just be waiting for me. I don’t usually drink do do just a couple things that I don’t really wanna get into but I plan on having not crazy drinks or anything like that.

Anyway, with the point of this post is, I’m looking for bars in the area that are good for singles. I live in Berthoud so, Loveland and Longmont (some of the surrounding areas too) are usually where I spend the most time. Fort Collins depending on the location can get pretty far. Usually I’m interested in people around 22-35 just depending on the situation and vice versa as well. i’m assuming that there’s going to be a lot more men than woman, but I guess that’s just how it goes. Sorry for the really long post. Bars may not work for me, but I at least need to give them a try.

if anyone is able to provide places that they have been or know of that are good for singles around my age up to 35ish and aren’t usually super packed, that would be wonderful. thank you all so so much.

Also what’s a good time to get there?

I’m coming to Houston this weekend and I’m wondering if anyone has antiques they’d be interested in selling?

So, I am an avid antique collector and live in Colorado. I don’t get out of the states that much these days, but I am going to Houston for a special event. I’ll be there. The 26th to the 28th. I fly home on the 29th. I was just curious if anyone has antiques that they haven’t listed but they wouldn’t be interested in selling. if anyone is, I’d love to know. Thank you all so much!

Behold... Lady Stevie👑

Stevie was a dumpster kitty before I got her. She never learned quite how to be a cat. Other qualities: very small, meows sound are a mixture between a mouse and lamb, runs like a gazelle, and purrs loudly while eating food.

Lady Stevie, First of Her Name, Previously Ruler of the Dumpster, Reigning Ruler of the House, Bender of Wills, and Protector of the Domain.

Long live Lady Stevie!!

1880s Roll-Top Desk: My Dream Desk

A few months ago, I attended an antique auction and saw what has to be the most beautiful roll top desk I’ve ever seen. At the time, I didn’t think it would fit in my room, so I passed on it and left the auction without buying it.

I couldn’t stop thinking about it, though, and eventually ended up purchasing it from the person who won it. In my opinion, it’s an absolutely stunning piece, and I thought some of you might enjoy seeing it.

I’ve had no luck finding a maker’s mark despite searching all over the desk. The only clue I’ve found is that the locks were made by Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. and are patented December 16, 1884.

And don’t worry, the kitty doesn’t go anywhere near the desk. She just happened to hop in while I was taking photos!

I'm looking for an antique National Cash Register. A somewhat specific type

Hi! I’m looking for an antique National cash register. I really like the model 211, 216, 312, 313. (Im sure there’s plenty more but what I’m looking for is one that is a copper oxide type). I have found a few, though they are plenty of states away. I am talking to someone currently and he seems to be a great option. I’m also looking to see if other people might have one. I know this is a shot in the dark but I was wondering if someone has one they would be willing to sell. Thank you all so much!! I added some photos of what some of them would look like.

I’m looking for a Sub-Reddit that specializes in deciphering signatures, marks, stamps, etc.

I have an antique Meiji vase that I posted about around a year ago, but I never got much help identifying it. I think I posted it in an Asian art subreddit. From time to time, I remember seeing other subs related to this kind of thing and was hoping someone here might know some good ones to try. if anyone could help, I would be beyond grateful. I have been wanting to figure this out for a long time. Thanks so much everyone.

Looking for some reputable antique furniture restoration companies

I know this isn’t your typical post and I’m not sure if it’s allowed here but nonetheless. I’m looking for recommendations of antique furniture restoration companies. I have a nice antique piece of furniture, and part of it needs to be restored. I’m looking for reputable restoration companies that specialize in this kind of work. I already have a few personal connections who do great work but for this particular project I’m hoping to work with an established company. I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you all so much!

okay, so I finally got used to how Facebook changed marketplace to refresh the page anytime you’re on a listing for a minute or so or leave the page. I found some ways to deal with it, though it’s still frustrating. Now every time I click on a listing and then click out of it. It instantly brings me to the top of the homepage. is this a bug or is this a new feature that Facebook decided to implement?

For context, I did recently get an iPhone 17 but that was a few weeks ago and the change happened yesterday for me.

I’m probably just being petty, but I’m hoping somebody here can help me. Thank you all so much!
