Has anyone here tried out the Buff Card Removal mod on Nexus Mods for Tactics Ogre Reborn?

I was thinking of playing the Steam version of this a new playthrough and was thinking about installing this mods, plus any others that people think are worthwhile? How is this mod? Any other Tactics Ogre Reborn mods worth looking into? Thanks.

For jungle Bel'veth should your first minor rune be AS or AD? Best minor runes for first and second full clear?

I'm kind of not sure if it should be AD, AD, Scaling/Flat HP

or

AS, AD, Scaling/Flat HP

For a faster clear. Or does one make a bigger difference late game? I would assume for Lethal Tempo, On-hit, farm heavy. Which minor runes actually help you first and second clear fastest?

What is your single favorite character ability to use in League of Legends?

I think mine has got to be Jhin's ultimate Curtain Call. Lining those shots up long range, seeing the enemy players fleeing for the hills when they know they're in the sniper's range, hitting one shot to chain that slow into the next. And the big damage BOOYA on that 4th shot. Oh yeah baby. SPLENDID. Very satisfying. Would use again.

I think the only truly needed hotfix change is W knockup should reset Q cooldown

It already gives you that Q direction's cooldown, but it also needs to refund the general Q cooldown as well. If you hit a W knockup on someone, you should always be able to dash towards them with a Q immediately.

If they made this one small fix I'm willing to accept the other changes and learn the new Bel'Veth style. But this one seems like it ought to be working this way already.

New Belveth observations from staring at Lolalytics data

  1. Press the Attack and Lethal Tempo both seem stronger than Conqueror, but it's close and depends on the enemy comp

  2. Gluttonous Greaves seems a great option unless Plated Steelcaps or Merc Treads is obviously great for the specific game.

  3. Cash Back + Triple Tonic seems to be a very strong secondary mastery tree choice

  4. Minor runes should almost always be Adaptive, Adaptive, Scaling Health

  5. Terminus and Guinsoos are much better now

  6. Belveth is Jungle Kayle/Master Yi

Have we considered that Filian has made enough money to retire young so could have just peaced out forever because she can?

I mean if I had enough money to never need to work another day in my life you would not hear from me again. All this stress and for what? Could have gone back to being a normal person on a pile of money. See ya never.

Monster Hunter Stories (1) I'm finding to be a real chore to play. Are the 2nd and 3rd games much better?

They look like the kinds of games I would really like. But the 1st game just feels so - empty and pointless. No real story, no music, gameplay feels limited and basic. Nothing really grabbing me about it. Do people really like the 2nd and 3rd Monster Hunter Stories games?

Your favorite JRPGs that don't require your full attention (very often)

Podcast friendly, brain-off kinda games that you can play while muted, or half paying attention while you listen to something else. With a fun gameplay loop. Gameplay forward, story can be good but it doesn't take up most of your time. Just a solid gaming romp. Easy to consume gaming. Your favorites like this?

What is actually the best version of Dragon Quest XI?

I'm seeing a new Switch 2 version on the way this September. I was hoping there was one version somewhere that had the original PS4 version nice lighting, but also the new features from the Switch version? Is that just something that does not exist? I'm also not sure how much of an upgrade the switch 2 version will be over the switch 1 version, or if that will improve the lighting or what. I don't really have a good PC for this.

FFT: The Ivalice Chronicles getting massive 1.5 patch. Will Tactics Ogre Reborn be next?

I'll be honest, there are some settings I would be ALL ABOUT if they existed:

  • Level Cap Options. On, Off, or you choose the number (I dunno, if you want a challenge or whatever). Off means grind to your hearts content up to level 50.

  • Card Spawn Optoins. Regular, Frequent, Infrequent, Off. Turn the feature off altogether if you don't like it. Or make them show up even more, or less. Turning it off would take off bosses from having the buffs by default.

I don't imagine either of these changes, programmatically, would take moving heaven and earth to implement. Game less balanced like this? Maybe so but leave it up to the player.

I just wish we got......ANYTHING. Anything at all. It feels like they moved on way to quick from something that could have used just a bit more.

Bourbon n' Toulouse Leestown road is closing down

Just got the email.

Let's not sugar coat this. The Leestown road construction killed this business. Nobody wants to drive anywhere near that mess.

Think of the most tedious part of any JRPG. What came to your mind?

And is it as tedious as Zenebatos, The Law City, in The Legend of Dragoon?

Progress in this area requires you to:

  1. Visit the legislature and make a new law script
  2. Take the script to the law factory to make a law capsule (or whatever)
  3. Take that law capsule to the law launcher to enact it for real

You need to do this at least 2 or 3 times, all while dodging security bots that will send you to a jail cell if you touch them. And there's still random encounters too by the way.

Even if you're efficient this section of the game drags so long, you'll be here an hour or more running through the same 4 screens over and over. And you need to pass additional laws to turn off the security bots.

You got something worse than this?
