Question about Shrine drops.
Today I started clearing the Shrines for the first time in Reborn.
I'm checking this loot drop table:
Does this mean that the only notable drops in the Shrines come from the boss?

I keep reading that One Vision introducea training missions, but where? When I click in places like Tynemouth Hill I only see the Party and Warren Report options
And random encounters, how do I trigger them? Just by walking around? There is a limit?
I've been running a knight with some great results. 1H hammer with shield, solid damage, good tanking, the usual.
I'm about to recruit the white knights, but my questions is: are they worth it over the regular knight? I know in Reborn, they were crazy good. But in One Vision, everything seems viable mostly.
Hi guys,
I just finished the lawful route with lord denam. I recruited basically all possible characters: the three white knights, arycelle etc. I also did the shrines quest and have the three shaman sisters: sherri, olyvia and the wicce deneb (I turned her into a shaman). I also recruited ozma, rudlum etc. I also finished the palace of the dead quest: I killed nybath in floor 100. Now here is my question: what should I do next? I want to recruit all other uniques and start post game aka coda the best way possible. I read I need the princess ending for that? In my ending catua was dead. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance :)
It’s me again XD. Basing on the PSP potd loot guide, I’ve noticed that some loots are dropped with a certain level of loyalty required. For example, the guide says that Boreas can be dropped by this certain enemy, and a side note stating a loyalty 31-40. So certain loots are dropped basing on the loyalty of the unit dealing the killing blow? I hope I’m getting it right. Thanks!
Though it seems only Canopus has the mobility to really collect cards at will
I have read here stats are dependant on what you level up as, but not super relevant as equipment is way more important. Still, I wanted to get the fastest/highest damage per turn possible character I could get.
Thanks in advance. I love this community. I feel so sad I never experienced the game before.
Edit: I have seen people recommending me to level up MP as that's the hardest stat to raise... Should I do that in the start of the game? I rather be something like a Ninja in FFT that attacks fast and often and doesn't care about magic but I don't know how important that is for this game.
it's that the legal system is completely incapable of handling the undead
It was fun. But, really? Did it have to be that long? Very unique gaming experience. Reminds me of something like Yiazmat from Final Fantasy XII. Palace of the Dead is definitely a memorable experience for me in it's own unique way. A test of endurance, but i was so addicted to the game i actually had fun and so it wasn't really so bad for me. I had fun taking on the different floors and randomly finding cool powerful gear. But really? 100 floors? Sheesh....
Hey guys,
I just finished Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. It was a 10/10 experience for me.
I’d like to pick up Tactics Ogre as well.
I like the way the characters look (meaning, they don’t look juvenile or overly anime like some do in other games, if that makes sense). I heard the story was similar to FFT.
I was wondering if someone could tell me a little bit more about the game? Is the writing good? Is the difficulty similar to FFT?
I have decided not to play Triangle Strategy, mostly because I couldn’t get into the writing of Octopath and I hear it’s by the same people. I also looked into Unicorn Overlord, but it’s not really my style.
Hey everyone , I've posted here before asking questions about Tactics Ogre Reborn for the switch. As of today May 11th , I finished my first playthrough! Warning, this is a major spoiler but I am overall not pleased with what happened.
(Warning: long ramble/rant)
It appears I just got shot by a gun . The screen whites out so it's possible some valiant guard saved me or something. But there were so many loose plot threads. Whatever happened to Nesbeth and his family of necromancers? Didn't Galgastan want to do something with the undead or something like that? Whatever happened to those dragons; I did try going to the Palace of the dead but after the 30th floor I just got so bored. Would I have gotten a special ending if I completed the Palace of the dead? The final boss was very difficult especially because in the Hanging Garden phase my clerics all died or were pushed off cliffs . So when the final boss had a special ability that prohibited Resurrection magic I had no counter. I had run out of marks to transform into a cleric . I also thought those marks were overly abundant anyway and ruined character individuality; I wanted to treat those as special items that can only be obtained by that eccentric witch that sometimes appears in shops but doesn't seem to offer anything of real value . A lot of the plot didn't make much sense to me. Why was Catulia so friendly at first to me and then so sad, >!deciding to kill herself just because reasons? !<Why was my best friend so irredeemably evil ? We know almost nothing about King Darangola (and yes I did read all the Codex entries and Warren reports and saw the intro scene); I still thought the twist that he was a villain didn't make a whole lot of sense and wasn't very impactful to me . Honestly I couldn't care less about him. What about the secret mission from those other lands that that other King sent Lancelot and Friends for?
Speaking of Lancelot , I found him broken and wounded just staring at the sea . I really thought he would have recovered at the end and help me out in the final battle but nope . Again just a loose plot thread I suppose. This version of the game has an option to try other plot threads. That's going to take me out of the game immersion wise. I made my choices . I chose the side of siding against all power hungry leaders at the risk of becoming a power hungry despot myself.
I guess my final part of the rant is so many mechanics are unclear: when recruiting doesn't work, unclear skill descriptions, limited skill slots, lack of clarity pertaining to classes and weapon affinity, obscure stat descriptions, etc.
The game needed more polish. I suspect I should have buckled down and found that dragon magic.
I should be mindful of spoilers in case I replay another path, but I will say that, with the exception of the final chapters, this is a great game for an "iron man" challenge (no resets and if the main character dies you have to start over). The recruitment system is forgiving.
LUCT is obviously a very mechanically complex game and I haven't been able to find a good newbie guide. I've read through the Classes (gonna try to get a Lich ASAP for sure) but that's about it. Anything I should know? Try to avoid spoilers, I'm looking for stuff like "oh, don't bother equipping X, Y are way better" or "the X class seems good but it's garbage."
In particular I watched a random video of a Let's Play of LUCT and the guy was in Chapter 2 but he noted that the shops all still sold the most basic equipment, they didn't appear to be getting better stuff to buy. I'm wondering if he did something wrong and there's something like "make sure to do X so that shops will get new items"
Thanks!
Do you always get the younger version of the birds in chapter 4 even though you never kill the original birds?
When finish using an attack and then try to use the Chariot Tarot, it says "You cannot use the Chariot Tarot while a unit is using an action". Do I have to end my turn before I can rewind?
