Been attempting to get it on backloggd for months but it does not work. Can someone else please put it on?

Not nintendo, gaming as a whole! Your thoughts and who misses here?

SuperSilverProject was originally a 1.6.4 project, but it was moved to 1.20.1 due to it sooo much easier to work with. It is the 1.6.4 experience with a couple good features from future updates and a couple of neat additions.

The world generator is the same as 1.6.4 with a added snowless taiga biome, a savanna biome ( no acacia ).
Also note that the custom textures right now are placeholders and not my own ones. Which will be made in the future.

Ive always been interested in what the results of the ballot where and i do believe i have a pretty good guess.

Ballot Picks: fighters that were obviously influenced by the ballot, note that inkling was a natural choice even if the ballot did not exist. I also believe that simon/alucard got about the same amount of votes but in the end they of course went with Simon as he is more recognizable to nintendo. Castlevania was confirmed to have gotten a lot of votes but people probably voted for a lot of various characters. Alucard was considered and his assist trophy has a lot to it suggesting they had some part of his moveset down already?

Easy Echoes: fighters that were wanted and would be easy echoes, ive placed isabelle in here too because she is a semi clone. I also assume that shadow scored atleast somewhat similar to dark samus and chrom so i find it even more puzzeling that he was not a echo.

Assist trophies/mii costumes: i believe representation is done in 3 ways, 1. fighters, 2. assist trophies and 3. miis. It is because of this i believe that fighters that are assist trophies scored much higher than fighters that are just miis. Notably some characters have both like knuckles and skull kid. I believe these were extra highly wanted because they got both.

Characters like dixie kong, chibi robo and tails all got mii costumes but probably weren't as popular as characters like crystal, shovel knight and isaac. Then there is shantae and rayman who both got notable representation in the game as spirits, of course later shantae even received a mii costume in ultimate as dlc but i do not count that as a ballot pick.

Paper mario and bandana waddle dee also probaby scored somewhat highly but they would get a spirit even if they did not so yeah.

Additionally i am sure that snake and wolf probably were in the top 10 at the very least since they were super highly requested of course. I only took into account actual newcomers for this mock up, i also believe bayonetta winning the ballot is not true, not only was she in the code earlier, i believe they did the ballot to see what the most requested characters are so they could have exciting newcomers for smash 5 which of course would become smash ultimate. I also do not know how cloud and steve scored, since cloud was quickly announced into the ballot, although he probably still did get a lot of votes and i have no idea how many people seriously requested steve.

I think there are a couple characters that scored quite highly that got nothing, a example for this is chrono whom i saw people want a lot, not to the extent of k rool or banjo but certainly equal to crystal and isaac. I guess it just didn't work out? I also believe that geno received a lot of votes given the nature of the reveal of his mii costume and if square was easier to work with i believe he would have gotten a assist trophy in Ultimate.

So lastly, i think this gives more insight to what the results were. It was a interesting thing to narrow down and i would like other thoughts on it. Its also interesting to see how speculation changed and stayed the same, if a ballot was done nowadays i think skull kid and isaac would score similarly and characters like crash and dante would score quite highly.

Did everyone forget it was like 1. Megaman 2. Villager or someone from AC and 3/4. Palutana and pac man. She was incredibly requested and now all fan rosters cut her. Kinda funny to me

With survivor i mean a hero style character where you could cycle between leon, jill, chris and claire as alts.

The attached image shows 4 characters that often get cut in fan rosters: terry, palutana, joker and incineroar. I find that specifically unlikely due to how sakurai was clearly so passionate about them.

Terry is the reason smash exists, his games inspired sakurai a lot.

Palutana is the face of kid icarus uprising which sakurai made and in japan the series is named after her.

Joker is from persona 5 and im pretty sure that might be sakurais favorite game of the decade.

Incineroar was specifacally added to add a archetype to smash, the wrestler and its very clear they had a lot of fun with designing him.

Anytime i see any of these 4 get cut in a roster that is not a melee sized reboot i just think that that person is stupid and has a small brain.

I dont get it, wolf is:

1. Cooler.

2. More unique.

3. A extra villain.

And yet almost every fan roster cuts him and keeps falco.

So, for smash64 i added: marth and pit replacing puff and luigi. This was not meant to be realistic of course since those two are not fully unique fighters but the rest of my roster is trying to be. Keep in mind this is just for fun.

For melee, i would have: bowser, a unique ganondorf, peach, zelda, mewtwo and mr game and watch. And luigi, raichu and wolf as those games clones.

For brawl, i could bring mewtwo and all clones back now since i had less characters in melee. I would add ridley as a zss replacement, lynn as a ike replacement, dixie kong replaces wolf and toon link as a half clone and for pit whom id have a free spot for i would add midna. Now because there are less melee characters i would also add krystal.

For smash 4, i would implement the mii not as a customizable character but more like game and watch where its moveset is made out of its various appearances. I would replace robin with chrom because he is the main character of awakening and ike is not here. Isaac and kamek are more than enough making up for the loss of the magic user moveset, replacing the mii gunner/swordsfighter respectively.

Bowser jr would be replaced by the wrestler from rythem heaven whom would have a similar ish moveset to incineroar. I would add takamaru in place of duck hunt duo too and finally i would have alph as the clone and not lucina / dark pit. I would replace corrin by leon kennedy whom i assume would be much more beloved, is it a stretch? I dont know i assume he at the very least was requested a lot during the ballot.

For ultimate, i replaced the belmonts with alucard whom would be more fun to play i hope, incineroars fun moveset is covered already with the wrester so i would add decidueye, with less characters to bring back i would then add chun li in place of ken, i would also add bowser jr and skull kid who i assume would be heavily requested at this point like k rool was. Toad/toadette are similar to the ice climbers because they are a duo character. Ive always had this idea and wanted to add it here.

For the echoes which would not be a term that would be established in this timeline i would have dark samus and the ancient minister ( rob ). And given the sheer popularity of the octolings they would be added as a last minute addition.

For dlc i would have pack 1 be more nintendo and pack 2 be more third party. The pre order bonus character could be bandana dee because that is a much more wanted character.

DLC1: min min, rex and pyra, chrono, banjo, byleth, king boo. Rex is added because id have a more intresting moveset were you control pyra like a blade or something ( i have not played a xenoblade )... Chrono would be replacing hero, but dragonquest would not be forgotten. I would also add king boo, this is a extra character to fp1 whom i would add solely for more villains and the unique moveset.

DLC2: steve, slime, dr robotnik, sephiroth, agumon and sora. Slime would be a lot different and arguably more iconic than hero. But the chaotic moveset of hero would still be captured with chrono. Id rather have agumon than kazuya given the rivalry between digi and pokemon, And eggman just feels like he is missing from ultimate a genuine omission whom i would add here.

Anyway its just for fun what do you think?
