[Online] [SWRPG][Pendragon][Stonetop][EST] GM Recruiting for Campaign in one of the systems mentioned

So I am looking to run long term campaign again. I am interested in three systems and depending on the players I find that will dictate what system I run. I have been a GM for nearly a decade, I have experience running systems from Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition to Pendragon, Mothership, Dolmenwood, and more. If you’re brand new to the systems or to TTRPGs in general, that’s fine. I always like having people new to the hobby

  • I love Star Wars, I have only ever run Edge of the Empire maybe a total of 15 sessions in various small games to teach players.
  • Pendragon, I have run one campaign that went for 21 sessions
  • Stonetop, I have never run this and I am still reading through the material. I’m not overly experienced with PbtA systems either.

Well! I am looking for only two more people to fill out a 4-person game. It would be awesome to find players who are either going to Star Wars Celebration 2027, live in New York City, Latino, or stream on Twitch but none of those are requirements. The only thing I really want are people I feel will mesh well with the other players. This will be on video chat using discord as well. If you are too shy to show yourself, sorry I can’t run a game online if I can’t see your face, body language, gestures all that stuff just really makes online games better.

Besides the above, these are my requirements for a game

  • Must be willing to have a video chat and talk before hand
  • Webcam/camera whatever for video
  • Have a decent mic. Doesn’t have to be anything like a Shure mic but please no headsets that sound really bad, sorry

As for my GM style, I tend to be low prep and high improv. Star Wars, from what I ran, lends itself to that and I absolutely love players who are very proactive and make stuff happens. I do not have any pre-determined story in mind. I tend to look for players first, run some one shots to see how people get along and go from there. This is more important though, I’m Latino, the other players are Latina, Queer, and women. Obviously we want to play with people we feel comfortable with, so make of that what you will. We all also like The Last Jedi. If this is something you’re up for trying, feel free to introduction but please include the following

  • Age
  • Name
  • Discord name
  • Availability
  • If you Stream or if you're attending Star Wars Celebration
  • Interests in RPGs, exploration, story, etc

This is important to note as well, this campaign will run on Saturdays at 9:00 PM Eastern time until 1:00 AM

I absolutely adore the Pendragon RPG. Is it worth playing Mythic Bastionland?

So I have been curious about this Mythic Bastionland ever since it released but only recently has my Pendragon 6th edition campaign has finished. I love Pendragon, I've run the Great Pendragon Campaign in 5.2. I will run it again someday when the full 6th edition expanded version is released. Knights going mad, dynastic growth, Traits & Passions, Manor management and more. There's so much I adore about the system.

I enjoy OSR too, I have been running Dolmenwood for about 7 months now. What does Mythic Bastionland offer me that Pendragon doesn't? I'm not sure if there's much overlap in the communities but I like the idea of Arthurian Knights in an OSR setting but how does that take form in this system? Or is it just another game in BX/D&D shell because after my Dolmenwood game is finished, I’d rather have something different enough to run.

Would appreciate any insight.

I absolutely adore the Pendragon RPG. What can this sytem give me?

I have bought the book physically because I couldn't help myself while pre-ordering Stonetop and I'm just waiting for it to arrive before I start reading the system.

Is there much of a Star Wars TTRPG crowd here?

So I’ve been wanting to run a long term Star Wars tabletop game for awhile now. I’ll be going to Celebration next year for the first time. Two of my players from the last game are also attending and it will be the first time we all meet in person. I figured, why not post here to find two players and potentially play online and meet next year?

But anyway, I’ve been a GM for nearly a decade, I have experience running systems from Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition to Pendragon, Mothership, Dolmenwood, and more. I love Star Wars, I have only ever run Edge of the Empire maybe a total of 15 sessions in various small games to teach players. I feel like I have a decent understanding of /r/SWRPG but it’s been a long time but what does this mean for potential players and what am I looking for?

Well! I am looking for only two more people to fill out a 4-person game. I have two players who are big Star Wars fans, they’re both chill, awesome, and high energy. The only thing I really want are people I feel will mesh well with the other players. The other thing, not a requirement, it would be great to find other Latino players! This will be on video chat using discord as well. If you are too shy to show yourself, sorry I can’t run a game online if I can’t see your face, body language, gestures all that stuff just really makes online games better.

Besides the above, these are my requirements for a game

We all also like The Last Jedi. If this is something you’re up for trying, feel free to message me with the following

* Age
* Name
* Discord name
* Availability
* If you Stream - definitely not a requirement
* Interests in RPGs, exploration, story, etc
* And whatever else you wanna include, really an introduction to yourself

Recommendations for Modules/Dungeon for Nag Lord?

Looking for recommendations for a good meaty dungeon to use in place for the Nag Lord from people far more knowledgable on OSR modules. The weirder the dungeon the better too! This is meant to serve as the end of our campaign, so I'd like to make it into a spectacle!

My players are level 2, 3, 4 and 4 so anything that works with that would be perfect.
