Any success after neck adjustments?

Morning Everyone, I have tons of ad videos of tinnitus being resolved with neck adjustments.

Has anyone tried this?

My tinnitus ringing is in both ears, but I also have loss of hearing and balance issues. On days when my tinnitus is really loud my chances of having a vertigo event is really high.

Has anyone done OAT testing

Hi Everyone, I see a lot of videos on addressing underlying issues that causes autism symptoms.

One of these is the OAT test, and I was wondering if anyone had done this for their child and what was the result.

For reference, it is a comprehensive urine test that measures metabolic byproducts to provide a snapshot of cellular health, gut bacteria, yeast overgrowth, neurotransmitter balance, and nutritional deficiencies.

Question re: whole house filtration system on well

Morning, my house is on a well system with the blue pressure tank. We added a whole house filtration system which has a flushing cycle every evening. A plumber working on replacing a mixing cartridge in our basement shower mentioned that our regulator runs too frequently

Realistically how tough is a whole house filtration system on a well system?

Is anyone getting paid for elder care services?

Hi Everyone, I’m told by my BIL’s MCO that I could be getting paid to take care of him. I’m just wondering if it’s worthwhile doing and whether there are any pitfalls that the MCO will not disclose openly. (Taxes, report requirements, audits). At this point, it feels punitive.

Thank you in advance!

Experience with MCOs

Hi Everyone, my 65 year old brother in law lives with us, is intellectually disabled, diabetic with an ostomy bag and has been in the hospital over a week due to a kidney injury that has a catheter inserted and we’re waiting for word as to his release date. My concern is his ability to manage his ostomy and now having to empty his catheter foley.

Is there anyone in this group familiar with working with managed care organizations?

My question is what has been your experience working with them?

I may have additional questions but I’m trying to be open minded.

Use of Herbal Teas

Hi Everyone , when you have a moment, I’m wondering if anyone uses a particular tea when they are sick/cold/flu. I’m NOT asking for herbal remedies to replace maintenance or rescue inhalers.

Thank you in advance!

New House with Basement Shower Stall Drain

Morning everyone, I have an ignorant plumbing question about the installation of the basement shower stall because I do not see the same done with the upper floor shower stall.

Is this drain set up correctly? I don’t understand why you can see the pvc pipe like this.

Maybe someone can explain the setup for me. Thank you in advance!

Help needed for BIL

Morning Everyone, I’m currently taking care of my intellectually disabled brother in law who has an ostomy. I’m writing this out of frustration because he seems to be unable to clean up after himself. I don’t honestly know what kind of ostomy he has.

So the toilet is a hot, gross mess. He doesn’t “see” it.

This post is hopefully to help come up with a way for him to be able to empty his bag in a way that is more comfortable for him and is more sanitary.
He currently is using wet wipes, but you can tell that emptying his bag is difficult. It this problem I’m trying to solve.

Confession Time

I was prescribed Wixela with my hospital visit and was told the Albuteral was a rescue inhaler. I stopped using the Wixela because I felt weird about the powder, and I tasted blood. Please don’t tell my husband.

So, I’m currently battling the flu and I’ve used the inhaler once already earlier today. I’m scared to use the Albuteral again because I believe it somehow caused my hypoxia event (I used it more often than twice that day, two puffs each time).

Can I feasibly take the Albuteral now and restart the Wixela?

Reactive Airway Disease

Hi Everyone, new member/lurker. I have a long history of evening coughing issues that were being treated as viral bronchitis (so not treated with antibiotics). My GP suggested silent reflux so I was trying to address it as that (pepcin) At one point I developed chest tightness and as a test tried my husbands Albuteral which really helped. It was used twice a day, but there came a point where it was ineffective.

On the day it was ineffective I ended up admitting myself to the hospital and found my oxygen level was 81%.

Does anyone from this group suffer from reactive airway disease?

I really didn’t find a related sub so if the group is not appropriate please let me know.

Single Step Install

Morning Everyone, my husband drives our 2014 RAM 1500 to work and I thought to have a single step installed. According to the shop, it will have to be put in more towards the front. My husband has a lot of back issues and is on the heavy side.

From pictures it looks to line up with the RAM logo on the door.

Is there anyone in this group that has this installed and uses the step?

Morning everyone, I’m on NA Xbox server - really struggling to get with a group at the night market. This is with attempts to find one in zone chat and the group finder/event tool. This isn’t a complaint as I’ve read a lot of posts and comments. I thought instead to float an idea.

Similar to pvp servers, I think there should be standing groups created just for the night market that people can freely join and leave. Once you join you can then port to a player’s location (under the social/group section).

What do you think?

Hi Everyone, I have a freestanding gas fireplace in my 3 seasons room that will not turn off.

Can someone please help guide me how to turn it off? I am a bit nervous to touch anything.

Thank you in advance!
