Tiny (티니) - True Love (2000)

I don't think they were ever that popular but I did like them. They were definitely kpop TLC influenced. They released one album, First of All in 2000. They had a single debut single "What? (뭐야)".

But this song, True Love, in particular is heavily New Jack Swing influenced. So much so that if you listen to Bruno Mar's Finesse 2016, (with Cardi B), another song built to emulate New Jack Swing, they basically have the same structure and progression.

AITA For not going to my SIL's cookout but hosting my own.

For context the cookouts were on July 4th, so it wasn't like the SIL was the only cookout that day.

So earlier this year my SIL (Husband's halfsister) invited us to her sons graduation party which she scheduled for the 4th of July. The date itself had a lot of people invited hesitant because it is a big day for other cookouts. Even her full brothers and sister didn't want to go because they usually have plans on going to a lake house with their friends. My husband and I go there a lot for her kids different parties, my children are adults so it's an empty nest at home. But we couldn't for this one.

Most of the people she invited lived about 3 hrs away. We all didn't really want to drive up early to beat the 4th July traffic (SIL lives in a popular vacation destination) and drive back down later that night, after sitting in the heat and drinking all day. Cause she wouldn't allow anyone to stay over, not enough room.

At the end of March my son had his first child. My first granddaughter. April we went to visit them, they live about 3 hrs south in a very big popular city, so we don't visit as much. They had mentioned not having any plans for the 4th and was thinking of coming to my stay at my place because we have other families who just also had babies but haven't met them. It'll be a big fun baby all meeting each other. There were 4 babies total!

So we started making plans for a cookout at my place instead. I called my SIL (end of April) and told her, she seemed ok but insisted we try to do half day there and drive back early to my own cookout. My husband, her halfbrother, told her "No, my son is coming with my granddaughter, I'm staying here." So we had our own cookout. When other people the SIL invited that lived here found out I was having a cookout they decided to come to mine or go to a different one instead, but not go to my SIL cookout. So about 12-15 people didn't go.

One of the people who did go to her cookout stopped by my house the next day to meet my granddaughter. But also told me the SIL was upset and not a lot of people showed up, but her sons friends did. She made some rather cheap "this is what family means" post on social media as well. I tried calling her a few times but no response. I told my husband if he talks to her for her to call me back if she has an issue. The issue only seems to be with me since others who didn't go have been able to talk to her, as they've told me.

AITA for hosting a 4th of July cookout for granddaughter instead of driving 3+ hrs to a HS graduation party? Thank you.

Are Adults Only more of a party environment?

Hello, I've been looking for an AI and I've come across a few AO within budget, 3k. I plan on going alone, I'm looking for a more quiet and relaxing experience. I was wondering if AO is more for a relaxing experience or more for those looking to party, meet new people/hook up. I'm not looking for that.

I plan on going sometime in August. The last 4 years have been very tough and stressful for me. My wife had been sick, I was her caregiver, and she passed away last year. After dealing with all that comes with her passing I'm now ready to get away for a week.

But I'm looking for a quiet place, to just find some peace. Any recommendation of place in Cancun, Playa de Carmen and transportation would be helpful. Thank you.

13 months ago my wife passed.

Hello everyone.

This is a bowl of pho with sliced steak and meatballs. Spicy oil, Sriracha and jalapenos added for some hotness. I'm sweating eating in 90+ degree restaurant. I also had fried spicy shrimps for appetizers. Viet iced coffee for drink.

I'm 43, and 13 months ago my wife, 37, passed away from cancer. She fought hard and bravely for 3 years. I did my best to care for her. We did as much as we could when she felt good. We went to dinners, we went on multiple trips out of the country. I did everything I could do, her medical appointments, her daily medicine I gave, everyday the draining fluids. I also had to make decision when she couldn't. Decisions not everyone agreed with but I was best advised by the doctors. I held her hand as she transitioned cause in the end I couldn't save her. We were together for 8 years. Married for 5 and we faced this together for the last 3.

Since she has passed I've had to deal with some legal and estate stuff. I've sold my house, my cat and dog both gone to new families. I've moved back in with my parents. I've lost everything. Today I should be able to close the estate. The last payments were made for whatever was left in her name. It's sad, but relieved, because it's over.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to deal with life going on. It feels wrong to think about relationships, even though everyone says "You're young, you'll find someone again!" Cause we didn't fall out of love, there was no break up. She died. I'm here. Every meal will have an empty seat in front of me.

I haven't worked since her passing. I don't have a lot of friends and I don't want to burden my family with my depression. My siblings all have their own family. I lay around all day, I can't focus on tvs or gaming. I think a vacation would be nice.

I've been looking to take a vacation. Probably to an all inclusive somewhere in Cancun just to unease my mind. I went and bought a book to read there. Dungeon crawler carl. Jumping the trend a few months late but why not.

Thank you for reading.

Have a good day everyone!

REPLY EDIT: Thank you brothers/and all for the love and support. I want to say that my family have been very supportive as well. They helped so much with all of the paperwork/funeral upon her passing, I don't think I could have done myself. But I also understand they have their own daily worries as well. New baby, new house, new car, new bills. I know they miss her too, and we always talk of her when we are together.

I've started the book, and I might finish it before I even make the vacation plans! :)

Warren G - Still Can't Fade It (feat. Twinz & Bo-Roc) [EXPLiCiT]

One of those tracks that seems to only be on this soundtrack and not on any DSP.

Warren was at his best.

A year ago today she passed away...

I wanted to share a collage of my beautiful wife. She was 37 years young, for 3 years she showed us all how to look at life with beauty and grace no matter what. I miss her so much.
