A cat called Devlin

I was watching a tik tok about certain breed of cats that pees in water, including peeing in toilets. It reminded me of Devlin.

We had a kitten given to us once by some random neighbour, that was weird as hell like he would stare at everything for ages, at the time I was watching: The master of disguise and called him Devlin. One time, we had to take him for a 12 hour drive to my grandma's house and he meowed the entire time + tried to run away a million times when we took him on breaks. Several days later when leaving my grandma's house he started meowing again, my mother immediately stopped the car then left him at my grandma's house.

Over time, Devlin lived with my grandma's dogs so he would also fetch and sit and bound over to you when you called his name. He also would go on walks with you. He used to get borrowed by the neighbours to hunt rats and mice from their house. Yet as a kid he would make me think my grandma's house was haunted because lights would flick on and off, I would hear the toilet flush by itself, doors would open, etc. Then one day when I was alone at grandma's house I could hear a noise in the toilet room so I got a broom ready to catch the "ghost". It was Devlin who was actually using the toilet and flushing, he also knew how to turn the lights on and off, and how to open doors. The most interesting thing he did was if he saw you walking into the house in the evening and looking for the light switch he would run up and switch it on for you, including the back lights. My mum would go off about it yet I thought it was incredible he could recognise when you were looking for the light and would switch it on for you. He would turn the lights on for my grandma when she walked around the house in the dark. Issue was he really loved peeing on bags so we had to unpack everything very quickly and hold him back.

He was actually a really nice cat.

Can anything be done about the local weirdo?

There's a weird man with two German shepherds in my street that literally harasses people on walks. I used to think it was bad luck to encounter him, yet he goes walking multiple times a day especially in the evening. When I am just walking after work or just going to the park on the weekend. He's wandering around like Smeagol.

He shoves his torch into your face or shines it over your body when you are alone. When I was with my partner he just put his head down and minded his business. Though when I am alone he will literally deviant off path try intimate/harass me then uses his dogs so people can't get up him. He also shines his torch into people's houses, is rude and aggressive to people at the boat ramp, he will wander around with his dogs multiple times a day just antagonising people. Once one of his fuck ass dogs escaped, then ran around in the middle of the road plus it likely was trying to bark at/nip at people using the foot path.

Edit: removed words because they were unrelated

What are some high turn over office jobs/places in Toowoomba?

I really need to move ASAP, I have applied to lots of admin, reception, and insurance jobs in the Darling Downs area. I mainly just want to get into any entry level office job while trying to settle into the Darling Downs region. Idc how shit the hours are or the culture is. I know high turn over places hire in like a week. I basically want any job (office based) to settle then look for a long term role either in Toowoomba or the neighbouring towns.

I have experience in well office jobs from claims, customer service, and admin so I am not going in blind but I want to work in an office because I have limited social skills and tolerance to be in hospitality or retail.

When I was a teen texting became popular and I thought the dick emoji was another smiley face

I would end my texts like this: 8D or 8=D to my mother and grandparents.

Is this ethical non monogamy?

This is not an invitation to send me messages.

Idk what this relationship is called. I want to be with a sexually comfortable man who fucks me occasionally with other men, where I can be in a safe, controlled, and private environment. I also want to watch men or women suck him off/have him cum on their face. For him I would want him to occasionally have sex with escorts, because I don't do anal I wouldn't mind watching him fuck them in the ass either. All while using protection and getting tested.

I don't think I am poly because I don't think I could tolerate a relationship with more than one person but sexually I want multiple encounters and have a trusted person around to help control things. The reason I would rather hire an escort for him or a just have a man around for head who isn't interested in a relationship is because I have encountered couples who are constantly scouring online and person, that target random women to basically use and discard while escorts are there for the specific services. I also think it's easier to find a guy who would suck, smash, and dash than it is to find a woman who is going to be comfort and unemotionally attached. I felt uncomfortable when approached by those fuck ass couples often the man is an off putting sleaze bag while the woman is often jealous or doing it because Captain Sleaze bag wants to mess around (it feels a bit culty too I remember when I was younger I had an older couple trying to groom me, where the woman was trying to basically "prepare" me for her way older boyfriend who barely spoke to me, then I peaced out before things went too crazy, I had an awful feeling the whole time). I also find there's a double standard where the man can do whatever but the woman can't. Hence I want a guy who isn't jealous/doesn't have that standard.

I've never cheated in a relationship but I think not having sex with another person forever is unrealistic. I also hate the double standard of men cheating or fucking around where women are expected to stay faithful forever. I don't want to do it all the time yet like 3 times a year max, have 2-4 guys fucking me. While occasionally having him fuck with escorts or get sucked off. Then for the rest of the relationship keep it fairly standard, be emotionally committed to each other, go on trips, romance/intimacy, buy property, gifts for each other, communicate, not cheating (I think cheating is sneaking around, lying, and being emotionally involved with others), build a life together, etc.

People who aren't originally from Brisbane what do you think of the meat pies here?

I cannot decide if I am starting to hate meat pies or the meat pies in Brisbane are rank af. The variations are soggy, floppy pastry with an good meat inside, a good pastry with idk wtf is inside but it's gross (some have yellow stuff inside it), or they're so disgusting neither pastry or the filling is edible.

I've worked and travelled north and south side, stopped at various bakeries where I cannot find a decent pie.

Am I in the wrong for being upset by work for the past week and a bit?

I work at a call centre. Basically, we are a glorified triaging service. For almost three months, we had no real structure, and now we have a new team leader (our third one). The company also decided to fire all of the casual staff without replacing them, so every department is now understaffed. Last Monday, I was the only staff member on the phones. I had come back from my lunch break early and missed my 10-minute break because we had a bomb threat and one staff member went home. Meanwhile, another staff member decided to leave for the LOLs and two other staff members didn't turn up at all.

This week, we have new staff, but they weren't on the phones for the first three days because they were completing training modules. We also only had one or two other staff members attending work sporadically. As a result, I was primarily the only one on phones for most of the week.

I felt stressed throughout the week because this manager doesn't actually help when I ask questions. Usually, I can talk things through with my coworker, but they haven't been at work. We regularly have people calling to receive payments or speak with their case manager, but those staff members are often unavailable. We have callers screaming at us because of the company's lack of communication and we also complete complaints. While I understand the anger isn't directed at me personally, I'm still the one taking those calls. I've had people scream at me continuously for 20 to 40 minutes.

Today, my team leader and I had a one-on-one meeting. During that meeting, they implied that I was struggling and told me I shouldn't be getting upset about being screamed at because it wasn't directed at me, so I didn't need to debrief. They also said that the understaffing shouldn't be affecting me.

The conversation then shifted to implications that I could lose my job for complaining, with my team leader pointing out that I am still on probation. They also said that call centres don't provide debriefing because dealing with difficult callers is simply the nature of the job. However, I previously worked in a call centre for the welfare system, where we were allowed to debrief after difficult calls, and understaffing absolutely affected our workload and wellbeing. My manager is acting as though I'm being unreasonable for raising these concerns.

She also complained about me taking my break at my scheduled time because she hadn't returned to cover the phones. She couldn't believe that I had gone on break and implied that I wasn't being a team player. Now I don't know if I am in the wrong or being gaslit.
