My take on Duskbloods PvP

I think it should be more akin to fighting an NPC. So very few heals, but a large healthpool. Maybe when you instigate a battle, your opponents health shows big on your screen like a boss bar.

Writing character descriptions for fun: John Duskbloods

John is a jack of all trades, boasting both a powerful rifle and a quick, nimble saber. He combines elegant techniques with raw strength, giving him an edge in battle compared to the strong but slow Clanker and the fast but weak Sherry Chakram. His gun is comprised of a strong alloy; allowing it to double as a shield.

John can leap off of high heights and dart through the air all while retaining his precise aim.

If feeling weak while on the battlefield, he can harness his vampiric ability to siphon another's blood, healing him.

John proves himself a competent opponent, no doubt worthy to claim the Moon Tears for himself.

Interesting weapon for this character

Looks like he/she is going to have a ball that can be thrown as an attack.

You think this lady will be a playable character or summon?

Her hat is absolutely glamorous.

9070 XT worth buying now for use in a build next year?

For my second ever PC build, I'm wondering if it's worth buying the GPU now and eventually building the computer later next year, or wait and see if prices drop.

I would be getting the individual parts gradually over the course of a year anyway. I could also use it in my current PC (using 3070 atm) and move it over to another one later.

My main worries are:

- price drops

- better GPUs coming out

How competitive is the race to get into the Network Test?

I don't believe I've ever applied for a network test so for the people who have, do you have to be on the dot of it showing up to have a chance at getting in?

Just a simple question. Other than Silksong, this is the most excited I've been for something so I'd like to get in rather than just watching.

How long will Sea of Sorrow be? Part 2. Length to 100% the first time around

Everyone unexpectedly picked 10+ hours the first time, so to get more specific, here’s another.

Slow-paced singleplayer FPS games

I'm looking for singleplayer FPS games that prefer guns like shotguns and revolvers over crazy over-the-top machine guns. Also resource management.

Think combat and guns similar to the Resident Evil 4 Remake.

I've been interested in Stalker and Metro but they are just so daunting to start.

Volume of games increases only after loud sounds play (Fedora)

I know this is kind of a ridiculous problem, but you must hear me out.

The volume of games only increases to a reasonable level after a loud sound plays.

Binding of Isaac Rebirth (Proton) - the volume is borderline silent until a certain drum hit in the music plays, or when I start a game and the loud music kicks in.

RE7&8 (Proton) - gunshots and loud dialogue cause audio to kick in. There is a notable cut when it does. A while without action causes it to go back to silent/extremely quiet.

Silksong (Native) - moving around the menu causes it to increase volume.

I didn't notice this issue occurring on Firefox/Youtube.

AI couldn't fix my problems, so you guys will have to. Thank you for your patience :)
