How to lose weight?

I'm currently 21F 155lbs at 5'2 and know I need a change. How do I go about this??

I dont currently control much of what I eat due to being a college student and eating at home most of the time.

I dont want to be fat anymore but I also dont have access to a gym and due to me working/school so much working out/school isnt super viable.

First text I received on a dating app

I'm just so sad that this is like 90% of men on dating apps. All I want is a husband and all men see is an opportunity for sex. Its just really not fun.

Best Christian dating apps?

Hello everyone,

What apps are best to use for a 21 F woman who wants a guy that is an appropriate age (20s to 29 maxxx). (I mean an older guy isnt the worst but to be frank, most of them arent attractive to me. So I'd prefer my age range)

Virgin, No sex until marriage lifestyle???

I've tried several secular apps, all pay to play basically and all the matches want sex whether that be in the future or like immediately. Or the men I connected with there we did not vibe.

I tried some dating apps I found on google by googling reddit christian dating apps. Those were filled with bots and I couldn't match without paying.

So if you are open to helping a gal out. I also dont want to use Facebook dating out of shame so anyone except that one. Thankyouuuu

Update! Chicken Tender the cat

Update on this post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/CatAdvice/s/WCssXicyMc

Essentially me and several other friends had a coming to Jesus meeting with this friend. Including her IRL boyfriend. She refused to fix the issue but her boyfriend told her if she didnt give the cat to him they would break up and went over to her house and took the cat.

I've called local shelters etc and they have since banned her. She's since agreed she was not a responsible cat owner and has agreed to not get another cat with all cat responsibilities falling onto her boyfriend.

So Chicken Tender is now in a new home. Her boyfriend already had a cat 🐈 (Lucy) who apparently thinks Chicken Tender is her new boyfriend so they are getting on great. He's sent videos of them running around in cardboard boxes 📦.

No idea if their relationship will last as I'm not close to the boyfriend and they already live like 3 hours away from each other. But at least the cat is safe. I doubt she'll get another because it didnt seem like she liked cat ownership. Still not sure I want to continue being her friend but thats a conversation for another day.

Apparently her boyfriend hadn't realized the extent of the situation and was really upset at her about it. Which is probably the only reason it changed. But the grape vine tells me he is seriously debating ending it with her. So we will see.

What kind of color point is my cat?

Hello all, I am wondering if my cat is seal point or chocolate point? I understand he is mitted/snowshoe pattern (not the breed). However he is still color point and that is what I would like answered. :^)

I feel like he is very brown. So I am torn between whether he is a chocolate point or seal point. Any expert opinions will be greatly appreciated!

Key note, I am only asking about color point! I know he not Siamese, Snowshoe (the cat breed), or anything other than Domestic ShortHair. Please do not make the comments anything about that. I am only asking for speculations about his color point and what kind of color point he could be.

Thankyou so much.

Seal point or chocolate point? (I know snowshoe)

Hey guys, I know he isn't like a true color point as he has white mittens. But I was wondering if his color point spots were seal point or chocolate point? He looks a lot more brown than a LOT of seal point kitties I've seen hence me wondering. He is 6 months old.

10 y/o pot bellied pig won't get up to eat? - no local pig vet what to do?

Hey so our 10 year old pot bellied pig suddenly has been acting off. She's always been a lazy girl (despite having a whole yard, her own personal house outside once she began refusing to come inside, and access to both our vet recommended pig food + we do feed her fruit/veg and table scraps occasionally.)

The vet she went to moved away and is no longer nearby.

Now everytime I would feed her normally she would give a nice little honk honk and go eat. Even letting me spray her down with the hose on a summer day. (She has an automatic water and we purposefully make mud puddles so she can cool off). She usually prefers the winter (she has a heated house).

But this summer it's been different and I'm growing concerned. She like has been honking but not getting up? Like I don't think I've seen her move in days.

We do not have a local vet that we could even get her too nor one that could come out to her. (Tried that). So I'm sort of wondering if there is an ethical way to maybe put her down at home if she doesn't improve? It makes me feel terrible that we can't help her. Like are there vets that would prescribe something we could give her at home??

Maybe she is having a few lazy days and will get up soon. She hasn't indicated any distress. I'm just unsure whats going on.

Please keep in mind she is not a true pot belly/miniature pig. We fell for a marketing. She's like a proper pig. Like I dont even think she's actually a pot belly. I'm 90% sure we got a live stock pig and not a pot belly. (Which when we had a vet she seemed to agree with that stance).

Even our old vet wasnt like a true pig vet but she was the only one we could get for her. And the exotic vets won't take her.

Edit: My girl passed away. We made the decision to humanely euthanize her at around 11 pm. The soonest we wouldve maybe been able to reach a vet was 8 AM and the vet wouldve had to come to us. And she was panting and stuff which indicated to us it may have been some fluid in her lungs. I made the decision that instead of allowing her to suffer to as humanely as possible end her life with a gun after giving her a dog sleeping aid. She was unconscious at the time of her passing. Unfortunately this year our 20 year old dog and 10 year old pig both went over the rainbow bridge. I know they are playing and running around pet heaven together.

People who "save" cats from rescues just to crate them almost 24/7 irk me

An online friend I made in HS is mistreating their cat imo. This is a friend who is a uni student and has a very time consuming job shoves their non-destructive sweetheart cat into the shower all day long. So basically this cat is only allowed to free roam for a few hours when they are home and I can't imagine they are allowed to at night.

I've brought it up casually several times voicing my disapproval and they keep doing it. I could somewhat understand if the cat was destructive, but the cat isnt.

This is sincerely affecting my friendship with this person because it upsets me when they mention letting their cat out... cat shouldve been let out. You have a tiny apartment.

They do not have any roommates. And I've seen their apartment as they share on discord what they are doing a lot. So its not like wires and stuff is out either.

There is zero reason to keep this cat locked up all day. This person grew up with crated dogs and we personally never crated our dogs so IDK if thats affecting my opinion on this. But part of me wonders what the point of rescuing a cat from a shelter is to just keep them in a tiny space all day long. Like sure, its probably better than shelter life. But seriously???

Or bare minimum, let the cat explore the whole bathroom. Why only the shower???

Edit: Going to confront her about it tommorow. Will let you know how it goes.

Baby cat keeps trying to play after getting neutered?

Hello all,

I have 2 cats. Both neutered boys. Just got my youngest neutered and he keeps jumping everywhere. He wouldnt get back into his plastic carrier so I put him in his backpack carrier. He is very hyperactive after coming out if the anesthesia. I dont want him to rip his stitches and am not sure what to do.

My other boy was a lot bigger when I got him fixed so he was more chill.

Update on this post if anyone was wondering

I was given the task of reaching out for OP. To anyone wondering, Rosa is SAFE and in a loving home. And hopefully we will get this terrible owner banned from the Facebook group. ^-^

Vet claims he is 6 months old, not sure I believe them? Thoughts?

The vet said he was 6 months old. I just don't think he is. They said he was malnourished but he is just so little? IDK thoughts?
