Is it normal for only men posts to be downvoted?

I’ve been lurking here for a while now and I’ve noticed that only the men that post their profiles on this subreddit are downvoted. Is this always the case? Is there some kind of “man hate” trend on here or something?

I hate r/Trueuglywomen

I can understand feeling ugly and needing a place to vent, but most of the posts are just anti blackness.

It feels like they aren't actually black and just pushing a narrative that black = ugly

Man spits on someone after saying "You don't know how this country works", then one way fight happens.

This sub legit saved my life

The more I read the post in this sub, the more life starts to make sense. I’ve spent my life thinking in “have to” due to society pressure.

I have to get to a high income or women won’t love you

I have to get a good body or women won’t love you

I have to have hobbies that are interesting or women won’t love you.

I have to be interesting to be around or women won’t love you.

I’m finally starting to realize that living this way has been a mental boulder crushing me every second of my day. Knowing that even if I have it all, they still won’t love me has truly been an eye opening and a breath of fresh air. I can do what I want unapologetically without feeling I need to climb a leaderboard of validation and appreciation.

Thank you to all of you.

Hello,

I apologize if im not asking the right question here. I'm planning on getting a tattoo in a Gothic Blackwork style by the end of this year. Has anyone gotten this style before and know if it would show well on black skin?
