Is upping Dut to 2.5mg worth it?

Currently taking 1mg of Avodart (since i’m
neurotic about generic even though I know they’re fine)

I have a hair transplant scheduled for the end of the year, conservative to leave extra grafts since I had aggressive loss from a young age. He said i’ll lose my midscalp in the future unless something changes and see further regrowth down the line, which is unlikely since i’ve been on for 1.5 years. I was on steroids till April this year so there could possibly be some improvement in the months to come (i’m completely off now) even though i’ve been on Dut for 1.5 years (was on steroids that entire duration).

Should I up the Dut to 2.5mg? Would it lead to a meaningful difference? I hear that the scalp DHT suppression is a decently significant difference. I would likely continue with my 1mg Avodart and add in 1.5mg generic if I follow through with this.

Any men here that think Tirz itself caused them to lose hair?

Just curious since it’s mostly women that are complaining about this side effect. Trials say 0.5% of men experience loss, much higher for women. Haven’t started yet myself, it’s sitting in my fridge lol.

Am i a good candidate for a hair transplant?

been on meds for 1.5 years (Dut). Min gave me sides so quit a year ago. This is my last option.

Has anyone’s hair improved/saw more regrowth/thickening after quitting smoking cigarettes.

I can’t think why smoking would exacerbate hair loss outside of constricting blood vessels due to nicotine which would have similar/the same effects as caffeine.

But i’m curious on people who quit during their hair journey. Did your gains improve after quitting smoking or was there no change (aside from the quitting what’s detrimental to your overall health)

Cheers

What would you estimate activity levels of someone who does 10-11k steps a day and weight trains 5x a week for 45mins-1hr?

Which would be the most accurate option?

Would 2-3 weeks as a cat 1 going 14-15% to 10% tank Test?

Are test levels quickly tanked on this diet?

I was considering adding minimum fat intake to maintain hormonal function which would be counter intuitive to trying to create largest deficit possible since it would increase daily cals by 500ish

Can beginner lifters still put on some muscle on this diet despite 1200+ cal deficit?

Can new lifters who are actually training to failure actually build some muscle mass on this diet? I’ve heard some say it here before, not sure how true it is? Whole food diet, 4x upper lower 2x sets to failure on each exercise, whole foods of protein, large deficit.

Nothing worse than seeing your hair in the phone camera

Literally nothing worse (apart from being slick bald).

I’m a diffuse thinner, using Dutasteide.

I go to multiple different mirrors and look at my hair at multiple different angles and think “oh it’s getting better”, “i can’t even notice any thinning now”. Gets exited and hopeful for further progress.

Then (regrettably) I go take a pic of my hair with the back camera with the phone above my head.

On my god. Literally night and day difference in how bad it appears. It’s disastrous on the phone camera compared in the mirror where I don’t even notice any diffuse thinning, or some very minor thinning in certain areas. I don’t know what to believe or what it actually looks like but to me saying the phone camera makes it appear worse seems like utter cope. Ruins my day and makes looking at my hair in the mirror infinity worse since regardless of what it looks like in the mirror, i know in my head that once i snap a pic of my hair on my phone it will look like i’ve progressed another 10 years of thinning.

How long for keto appetite suppression to kick in?

Seen many talk about the appetite suppression or even e condolete loss of hunger. I’m curious as to when you started to feel these effects. How long does this take? is it as soon as you enter a state of ketosis?

Can I just walk into duty free at departures?

I know your meant to have a flight ticket to get in duty free. I forgot to buy something there. Is there anything stopping me from just walking in through the arrivals area?

Is body weight exercises enough on PSMF

Currently abroad but still motivated to push through the PSMF diet but don’t want to get another membership. Getting my bf down is something I want to do ASAP. Will be away for the duration of the PSMF.

Will pushups, dips, curls etc throughout the day (meaning spontaneously instead of setting x amount of time for working out a day, not that i think it would make a difference, but thought i’d add that in case) be enough for the diet to work? For the diet to work I don’t mean weight loss, you’ll obviously lose weight on PSMF calories with some being fat, i’m talking about fat loss while having good muscle retention and most of the loss coming from fat stores. After reading Lyles ultimate diet 2.0 book he said that not working out can leave you with even higher bf % (i think due to disproportional muscle to fat loss rato). Obviously this is very unideal and not something I or anyone wants. I’m not an experienced lifter, sitting at 18% ish bf, want to get down to 12%ish so a couple weeks on this diet.

Is push-ups and other body weight exercises enough to maintain muscle mass while on PSMF as a non experienced/non bodybuilder guy just looking for maximum fat loss asap? I’m not a gym rookie, just not big by any means.

Still taking the required supps like 10g fish oil daily, multi vitamin and salting my food like crazy etc.

Appreciate any input.
