People who say arranged marriage is bad and love/intercaste marriage is always good No, it’s not the process, it’s the people

Does anyone here know Samarth Singh or his family personally?

they both met each other on dating app in 2024. it was a love/intercaste marriage. still dowry harrasment happened.

The Twisha Sharma case has raised serious allegations of dowry harassment, mental abuse, and influence being used to weaken the investigation. Reports say Samarth Singh is currently absconding and an SIT has been formed.

If anyone from Bhopal/Noida knows this family, their background, behaviour, or has any relevant information, what was your experience with them?

Bhaii why?? Being a girl this really pisses me off. Why do u expect ki koi apni seat aapke liye chhod de ? Why? Vo bhi to kaam se aa raha hoga?? Its diff matter if it was reserved seat for women but if not then why so much entitlement man!

Amid the Ankit controversy: My experience of casteism as a non-Haryanvi during my father’s posting in Haryana, and why it is not going to end anytime soon.

hello everyone so when I was a kid my father got posted somewhere in Haryana.

He is a soldier in the Indian Army and I'm from somewhere in the northern hilly states. I did my 10th class from a CBSE school in Haryana.

I'm considered an upper caste although I don't believe in caste hierarchy.

So when we moved to Haryana, I faced heavy groupism against me. People from different castes used to come from nearby villages. Jaat, Gujar, Banjara, Valmiki, Lubana these were the populous castes of that school

Aside from being called chinki and abusive slurs just because I look a bit different, I also faced selective targeting. People did try to pick fights with me because they knew I didn't have local support. It was the hardest time for me tbh.

And now I'm graduated from a college and I had the option of shifting to GGN or Pune. And I chose Pune because of the news that surfaces all the time. .

And now when I did some research about castes, i came to know many of these were forward castes like Jaat, Gujar, Lubana. These were traditionally Shudra castes. And they used to worship their ancestral temples, which were in their farms. What Brahmins did to them 100 years ago, they are now doing to other castes just to feel superiority.

And the government didn't give them reservation because of their land holdings. They are forward castes. And both forward castes and upper castes come in the general category (सामान्य वर्ग).

And now I see casteism has risen to new peaks due to the rise of caste-based songs, reels, and everyone trying to pull each other down.

Even sc's do discrimination against sc's the same I see from castes like Valmiki, Ramdasiya, and other castes. Even they try to show they are superior to others. Last Nov 2025, in my friend's area which was a Valmiki-majority area, there was a clash between Ramdasiya and Valmiki people because a Ramdasiya boy married a Valmiki girl. And somehow it dented their caste pride and they fought.
