The album holds a really special place in my heart because it's the first Takanaka album I heard. I remember coming across it on youtube back during the first year in highschool that laptops were given to public schools. It fills me with a sense of nostalgia while at the same time just being an amazing record with no sleepers, no unnecessary tracks, just back-to-back bangers

I know others tend to lean towards The Rainbow Goblins or Takanaka (1977), but An Insatiable High just does it for me every time!

I just need to pass the Hydraulics portion of the TCEQ test to be a licensed irrigator. There are two questions like this on the test that I just can't wrap my head around. I can solve design and dynamic pressure when ONE is operating, but I'm completely thrown off when TWO are operating

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I really wanna pass and not go down to the wire on a 4th attempt!

Not sure if this has been brought up lately, but one of the biggest features of any Persona game is the soundtrack. I haven't had the chance to play P1, P2IS, or P2EP, but the following major line games (P3 & P3R, P4 & P4G, and P5 & P5R) all have incredible OSTs.

Persona 3 features a mix of hip/hop and rock that was really popular at the time of release (like Samurai Champloo)

Persona 4 features some really nice pop sounds, like stuff you'd hear while watching TV (wink)

Persona 5 had an amazing jazz-based soundtrack to go with the theme of "stealing"

With the recent announcement of Persona 6, I recently started to wonder what the main genre for it's soundtrack would be. With the horror theme explored in the trailer, and the black and green coloring...my guess would be alternative, metal, industrial, and/or ambiant. Something that would enhance the spooks given the direction Atlus is seemingly going in.

What do y'all think? I'd love to hear y'alls opinions on this

I finally beat Time Stranger (really beautiful ending to the game btw). I want to set the game aside in order to play other games in my backlog but am wondering if the Expansion Episodes DLC are worth it.

To anyone who has purchased them - is it worth the $30USD? Does it add anything to the story/game besides new Digimon? I already pumped about 100 hours into the game, so I really don't know how much more these episodes would add to the experience.

If it's not worth it, I'd rather spend that money elsewhere. Thanks for your imput!

I genuinely need someone to explain this to me like I'm a five year old. But in the meantime, let me see if I followed enough to understand what's going on:

- >!MC was created by Aegiomon's time travelling. It is explained that MC is one the many "shadows" created by the various timelines that Aegiomon visited in his attempts to save Inori. This is why once you've separated from Aegiomon in the second half of the game, some Digimon confuse you for the Guardian. This is also why Aegiomon and the MC fuse to create Jupitermon, since the shadows are a part of him!<

->!To my understanding, ADAMAS does not truly exist. Neither does Dr.Yuki nor the Operator. The whole agent shtick was some type of creation meant to guide the MC towards the ultimate goal of aiding Aegiomon defeat Chronomon. This was hinted in the very beginning of the game with the out of place anime intro, as well as the scenes of a TV showing the character selection screen and key moments of the game. Dr.Simmons also mentions that Dr.Yuki is her favorite character in an anime she used to watch. So...the story is taking place in an anime????!<

Bought a copy of Tatsuro Yamashita's 1986 record Pocket Music, and as I was listening to it for the first time I absolutely fell in love with track 3 on the A side - Mermaid.

It's so catchy and beautiful, telling a story of a love not meant to be (entirely in English). I think of the ocean, walking on the sand, spending time with your special person whenever I listen to it, and Yamashita's arrangements for the vocals and harmonies (as per the rest of his work) are outstanding. It makes me feel nostalgic for a time that I never lived in lol.

Great tune that I think more people should be aware of :)

Hey y'all, my cousin is getting married and one of the items in their registry is a turntable. I wanted to go a bit more special and get them something of higher quality than the Victrola Automatic they had listed.

I've been eyeing U-Turn turntables for a while now and was considering getting one for them. I'd love to know from anyone here how their experience with them is and if they're worth the money.

For economic reasons, if I do get it for them it'll most likely be the Orbit Plus with the Built in Pre-amp.
