Hey, looking for a new barbershop in the Flatbush area and was wondering if anyone had a recommendations on any queer/queer-friendly barbershops.

One of my greatest joys was the Xbox 360 remasters of the games, with better cameras, textures and removing the annoying reset of music notes in the first. As well as actual stop and swap mechanics. Do we see a world where these find their way to switch or am I stuck with the OGs forever?

New GE through-wall air conditioner can turn on but won’t blow air, even on fan mode. Anyone know if I was supposed to prepare the AC in any special way to get it to start blowing?

Hey everyone,

Just moved into a new apartment in Flatbush where all the rooms have vents for through wall ACs. All the windows are horizontal, so there’s no way to set up the window units I’ve been holding on to.

Our vents are 27”w x 16 3/4”H. All ACs that I see available are about 24”w and 14”h. Apparently, the vents are just old and ACs got smaller as time went on.

Will a 24x14 AC work in these vents? I saw how all of this weather sealing and blocks to make them stationary are required. Is this easy to DIY or worth hiring a task rabbit over?

I’m fairly handy. Just hot, sweaty and losing my cool

Moving near Church St Church Ave/ Nostrand Ave and wanted to know what’s good to check out. I’ve heard the Haitian food is incredible so I’m looking forward to trying out some new restaurants.
