You are hereby challenged to a build-off!

What’s a build-off, you ask? Well, it’s like a dance-off but with AI car builds. And with less sweating.

The concept is participants are given some criteria for a build, for example 1960 Continental restomod…. Or 2032 Continental “throwback”, and then a deadline to post it. We can use a poll post to figure out whos car won.

It should be fun! A little friendly competition, and I figured being given a specific request would be a nice change of pace.

2030 Corvette but need your opinion

Before I do a full spread, I wasn’t sure if I’m 100% happy with it. Do you think it’s Vette enough?

The influences are basically ‘56 with ‘55 headlights.

In the year 2032…

... the American automotive industry is enjoying a new renaissance. But it didn't come easily. In mid-2027, through a partnership with North Korea, China entered the U.S. car market, full force. They flooded the market with cheap, but somewhat below-average quality, almost disposable vehicles.

For three years, American car manufacturers got their asses handed to them. Chrysler almost closes its doors and is actually purchased by Ford from Stellantis in 2031. Otherwise, the American automotive industry has no choice but to fall back on lost strengths of the past: quality and innovation. New cars start to feature better build quality, higher reliability and better efficiency. And, cars start to become more stylish and unique. In particular, throw-back cars like the 2032 Ford Deuce, released for the 100-year anniversary of the iconic 1932 Deuce Coupe.

You will be happy to know that China loses ground it gained initially, as build quality and reliability decline. Also, as more of a copier than an innovator, China loses market share to the Big 2, thanks to high quality and innovative designs. The best is yet to come!
