As a feral, unsupervised child, like many of us, I was left learning new skills by myself a lot of the time. Just picking it up as I go or asking questions. Not everything I know I taught myself. But a fair amount. I’m curious how you all learned your basic life skills. Auto mechanics, carpentry, cooking, plumbing. And all that jazz. What percentage would you say you had to teach yourself?

How much of a difference does it make substituting, gluten-free flour, for regular flour in a cake recipe? Is there anything additional I need to add? I’m kind of new to this gluten-free baking thing. I appreciate any help.
