Am I dumb?

Am I dumb?

How did I end up with 2 of the same model? The green one is from the dark imperium set, correct? How did I end up with another one in regular gray? I have the dark imperium marines, the easy to build guys, the kill team, and what I assume is the regular 7 man plague marines that you can get readily available anywhere (they're from the combat patrol) and we're the first ones made. I just dug out the instructions and I couldn't find anywhere that indicated I could build this guy on my own from the regular box. So I was just wondering if you guys had any idea how he slipped in

edit: so yes, it turns out I am dumb! I got the dark imperium guys second hand and they were advertised as such, but it turns out they were from the "know no fear" set actually. I do also have the plasma guy, and as I recall, he was green as well. However! I still have all the marine legs on my pox walker sprue and never used them myself. I actually never used any of the pox walker parts at all for anything, and I have never gotten the Morty's chosen guys, so I still don't know how I ended up with that particular model. So that will probably forever remain a mystery. I apologize for (kinda) resetting the timer. I now plan on getting the chosen and building a 3rd guy the same. I guess I kinda have to now to punish myself for stupidity. Thank you everyone, these replies have made my day

Prayer lore questions

Me and a friend decided to start up AoS, and Nurgle's most favorite little buddies were the army I landed on. partly because I have a lot of demons from 40k, but also, maggotkin has some of my favorite models in GW's entire line up, and I'm a huge nurgle stan anyway.

Im running some of my favorite models in my first list, rotswords, blightkings, belga, harbinger, and the sloven knights. This leaves me with 3 priests, cause I'm running the blightkings as the aqshy version. The scroll just vibed more with the new models.

Which prayer lore is the most versatile/useful? Both of them seem to have good contenders for spells, but I'll admit, I'm not 100% certain how things will translate to the table top. Somethings I've seen that seem preem, everyone says they're kinda bad, and some of the stuff that seemed meh to me, turned out to be amazing once I saw them in a battle report video. Like the pox wretches, for example. I thought they were a squishy fodder unit (they still are), but then handing out disease out of sequence, and potentially again when they inevitably get murked turned out to be pretty explosive.

Bloated with sickness, seems pretty weak, but gift of disease seems amazing if you stick your chanter in with a group of rotswords or something, on the other hand, agonizing vomit seems really good for laying on more mortals on top of the diseases, and febrile advance seems kind of awkward, but I could see some situational shenanigans with stealing objectives.

Let me know what you guys prefer running

Is the notification for learning legendaries broken?

I understand that the learning of legendaries is very heavily based on rng and yes, a lot of the time it sucks. Well a few days ago I got the sound that plays when you learn or receive a legendary from scraping items. I checked my mods and nothing was there. So I went over to the crafting bench to see if anything was obviously different. And to my surprise I had like 3 or 4 legendaries learned that I definitely did not have at the start of this season. Thru-hikers, lightweight, and durability were all unlocked. I don't remember ever receiving a notification for these and I know for a fact they weren't unlocked at the beginning of the season. I didn't know if anyone else had experienced this or not

Bloodied vs Reverse furious

Hey everyone, I found this place after quite a few Google searches so I thought I'd ask the experts. I've been playing 76 a few years now, and a bow user almost exclusively for the last year or so. My "build" is very casual. Almost every event and 100% of overwold activities were doable and fun. I just used reverse furious and almost every QOL perk cause I'm a loot hoarder and love staying out and exploring.

The new bump to headhunt bosses, Bigfoot and inclusion of some of the new suped up event bosses has me looking to improve.

I've been running a bloodied build with full unyielding armour, reverse furious, and all of the crit perks and that's gotten me a lot closer to where I want to be. Bloodied is mainly for the low health perks like nerd rage, and another one I can't recall. I don't usually have issues staying alive unless Bigfoot shows up at the end of an event I've soloed.

I've been wondering if it's worth it to ditch the furious part, go with a bloodied bow and lean into stealth for some extra damage. The main issue with this, is sneak is automatically null during most, if not all applications where it's most useful, events, daily ops, and headhunts. I can usually manage to stay hidden even with no perks when Bigfoot shows up (caution) is usually all I ever get.

So the main concern is losing a huge chunk of my damage just because it's an event and I automatically lose my sneak buff. I would like to hear some thoughts on this.

So this is what I've been missing out on?

First off, same old song and dance I'm sure you guys have heard a million times, long time souls born player, decided to try out AC because I'm in a bit of a slump, and I wanted to try the only recent FromSoft game I hadn't played yet.

I knew it wasn't "dark souls with mechs" but was the birthplace of certain mechanics and gameplay styles we all grew to love with souls games, so I was intrigued, but my expectations stayed tempered.

After the first mission, which was alright, I ran into the boss helicopter. About 5 tries and I had him downed, I was beginning to settle in (or so I thought). The next 2 days flew by, and by the end of them I was flying around, hardly touching the ground, sending missiles into enemies I barely registered, seeing the +$$$ pop up in the bottom of the screen. Now this is mech fighting baby! It felt fluid. Me and the mech were one. Nothing could stand in my way!

Then came the wall. Until this point I had pretty much kept in line with the starting AC, I had a second shoulder weapon, but I kept my other weapons and most of the gear the same. Then hander walter gets me into operation wall climber. Easy peasy, work my way up the wall with almost no issues, I was killing it. What's this? A re-supply? Ok cool! This has to be the boss! The doors open, cut scene played and the boss Battle started. (I bet you can tell where this is going) The first part of it was fun and fast paced, dodging the charges, hitting the juggernaut from the back, rinse and repeat. Then my buddy left. And I was on my own. I couldn't get around this guy at all. No matter how much I baited the charges, how many times I zoomed around him. He was always there to face me with the giant slab of steel before I could send my missiles into his ass.

I tried about 5 times before I had the realization. I didn't know what to do. The feeling I had from playing bloodborne (my first souls game) came flooding back. It was wonderful. I had no idea what to do. I'm just getting started. Now I get to go back, play old missions, grind out parts, and try new things. Learn new mechanics! Learn new starts! The feeling of stumbling around like a baby deer on rickety legs. Everything is new, and I love it! I'm nowhere near as good as I thought I was, and the wall is much taller than I thought. But I will climb it and let it take me wherever it may.

I've rambled too long. I just wanted to share that I've felt the elation of something new I hadn't felt in a while.

Knights of Avarice, to gas, or not to gas?

So I've started KoA. Love the lore, love the vibe, love the models (thanks for the awesome models from WGC) I would love to go all out with gas, as they are the one sub faction with the most access, and it's thematic as all get out.

However, nowhere near me is running tc at the moment and the one lgs near me doesn't have any plans to run it any time soon, so it's just me and my friends, and hopefully we can keep a narrative campaign going! I know as soon as I play my first game, everyone is gonna buy gas masks immediately, since they're super cheap and available to literally every model in the game. So my gas barrage will be null and void probably after the first round.

Has anyone had any success running KoA without gas grenades or launcher or artillery witch? I'm still getting the artillery witch, but I'm pretty dissuaded from running everyone with gas grenades after this realization.

Right now I have two lists, both with a priest, chorister, and 3 anointed infantry. One list runs gas grenades on almost every model and a launcher on one of the anointed infantry. I also squeezed in 2 wretched. The second list runs the same models, but the launcher is changed for automatic shotgun, and everyone has combat helmets and internal brands. This second list only has one wretched.
