Drawing tutorials for kids

My son really enjoys drawing so I’d like to feed into it. I’m looking for an app or a website for a 7 year old, he’s not allowed YouTube for obvious reasons. We tried simply draw but it’s way too expensive monthly, I don’t mind paying but 14$ a month is a little much.

How is it working as a sales rep for CC?

I previously worked for Tmobile but got laid off, and was invited to apply at a new Consumer Cellular store in our area. T-Mobile’s benefits were really good, the pay was decent, and I was pretty good at sales, typically top 20%. How do you enjoy your job?

How long do you let your kids ramble?

My six year old has always been a talker, even when you couldn’t understand most of what he said. He was super into animals for a long time and could absorb information from documentaries and would basically repeat it back to you while driving in the car. I didn’t mind, I like animals, and would let him drone on. Now we’ve moved on to Minecraft. My husband son and I play Minecraft with him maybe once a week, and he gets about an hour to play by himself each week. He has a lot of friends at school that know wayyy more than either of us care to know. Now he drones on for 45+ minutes about things you can do in Minecraft. To me, this information in his head is useless, and I honestly don’t want to hear about it. After about 5 minutes I’m ready to pull my hair out, and am desperate to change the subject which sometimes works and sometimes not, and I just flat out tell him we need to talk about something else. How long do you let your kid go off about his favorite, undesirable, subjects?

Keeping 15m twins in the wagon?

I don’t know if we messed up by primarily using our Wonderfold, I thought it would be better to let the babies have space to move around, but now it’s a disaster. We can’t be in a store more than 15 minutes before they’re literally climbing out for me to hold them. If I strap them in I can get another 10 or so minutes maybe. They do okay if my husband is pushing and I just ignore them, but he works four days of the week. We can’t go for walks, or into nearly any store without them demanding to be held. Is this just the age to stay at home?

How much of your house is open to your toddlers?

We’re moving into a new house soon, and I’m trying to decide how much baby proofing we need to do. Of course all of the house will be safe, or locked, but right now our house is like the Panama Canal, just gate after gate. Our twin boys will be about 18 months, and they are very active, and want to be right near me so it’s difficult to do something in another room like, brush my teeth, poop, laundry, dishes, cook. With my first we just let him all around the house and made sure things were put away, but also my grandparents lived with us so there was always an adult to get him out of things. Now it’s just me most of the time, outside of nights and weekends, so I can’t chase after both of them, but keeping them just locked in the living room and their bedroom seems harsh.

Utensils on the counter or in drawer?

The house we’re moving into doesn’t have any drawers near the oven, I prefer to store my cooking utensils in a drawer instead of being out in the open. The idea of utensils being on the counter grosses me out, I know the drawer isn’t bacteria proof but it makes me feel better. My husband thinks I should just suck it up and get a counter utensil holder, but I’m thinking about adding a drawer insert in one of the lower cabinets next to the oven. Anyone have suggestions or experiences? I would eventually add a drawer insert into those cabinets anyways so I can see my pots and pans, and Tupperware.

What am I missing?

I’m trying to get back into my hobbies a little at a time, I’m working on a paint by number, but why is my paint so streaky and thin? I’ll admit im using cheap paint and brushes, I don’t mind upgrading something but I don’t want to waste the money on upgrading the wrong thing. Better paint or maybe a medium of some sort? Help me enjoy this please! (The blue bit is what I mean specifically)

Please excuse the fake furniture, it’s the only photos I have so far. We’re moving into a new house soon, we like having two tvs in our living room, but I don’t see how we could manage that here.

I divorced in 2019, she was awarded the house, but never refinanced or sold. Now I’m trying to buy a house, my name is still primary on the loan, so they’re considering me responsible for the payment, but my income doesn’t cover two houses. So I have a house that I can’t force her to refinance, and I can’t even get my own! How does this make sense!

I have 13mo twins, one sleeps pretty good, maybe waking once or twice. The other twin has been waking about every 45-60 minutes for the last two months! He doesn’t nap very well, two 20-30 minute naps are a good day, one being in a car, so not deep sleep. They are off bottles completely, they eat good meals, they don’t want milk at night. He just needs to be patted a little and goes right back to sleep, we’ve tried waiting ten minutes, increasing increments starting at 2 minutes. We just need sleep!
