If linking from an informational page to a commercial content page, what do you actually link to?

I've uploaded a piece: How to help a family member who is being scammed: 4 concrete steps.

I want to link through to a checklist that their family member can keep next to them in the event they run into a potential scam the next time.

However, what do I actually link to from my product page? Is that a commercial content piece where I have a complete sales page? Is it a brief landing page? The product link where they can immediately buy the product?

What do you guys have success with?

Question about topical authority

I have been creating exclusively anti-phishing content.

I want to look for BOFU queries and create content around that. List based posts, product reviews, etc.

Will that take away from my topical authority?

Say i do a comparison of NordVPN vs. Norton.

Perhaps only 1 H2 where I talk about how it protects against phishing. But the entire post is not anti-phishing.

How should I think about this going forward?

If you have pain points of your audience, is informational content -> commercial content that offers solution the way?

Say you have ‘family member being scammed’ as pain point.

Is it a good idea to have an informational article about it that links to commercial content? What could be a good (digital) product for someone with this pain point?

Is it a good example of a pain point?

Question on how to approach content/online business..

Do you start with the content you can produce through keyword research, clearly identifying the problem per article, and offering a digital product or affiliate recommendation based on that?

Or do you start with a suite of (affiliate) products and reverse engineer, looking for keywords that will make it convert?

I want to try the informational content -> internal link to commercial content -> convert structure. But is this the right way to think about it?

I have a website…. And a few informational articles on there. Some already have signs of a bit of traffic. But how do you ultimately monetize that?

Is that clearly defining the 1 problem that informational content helps with, and think about offering a solution for that clearly defined problem by creating a commercial content page with the offer link in it?

Please help me clear up the confusion and help me to proceed…..

A few questions about informational and commercial content infrastructure.

I take it it is valuable to clearly define the problem your reader faces, for your informational intent queries.

For example: if i suspect i received a phishing email, what should I do next? (Reader wants clarity and perhaps action steps to follow, and/or how to recognize a phishing attempt)

What if the informational content completely helps them with that problem? Is the commercial content superfluous then? Or do you still write it regardless?

Do you always want to create the informational content -> commercial content that offers solution infrastructure like that?

Is that fundamental in creating business success online?

How does one effectively combine content marketing with affiliate marketing (or selling a digital product)?

Is it as simple as having commercial intent search queries, and inputting the affiliate link in the body?

How can you optimize for conversions?

Does anyone have a good resource on this, or a good resource on what makes content (marketing) work?

I have been uploading some articles to my anti-phishing site, but want to expand beyond just writing articles about phishing and perhaps offering a digital product or somebody elses product. But I dont know how to proceed.

Is writing content for informational queries still worth it?

AI suggests i should focus on commercial intent since AI and AI overviews eat into the clicks of informational intent queries.

What do you guys think?

What meaningful research can you do on potential offers, before posting content?

Like what AI and people talk about is the distinction between informational and commercial search intent.

Obviously commercial search intent like ‘best anti-phishing software’ should be warmer than informational search intent queries.

But there must be more ways to research on how to convert your traffic better than just this distinction, right?

How do succesful businesses that want to convert on the internet actually do this? How do they tailor offers to their traffic? Are there any principles behind the content they post and the underlying mindset of their visitors, and how to take that on board?

How do you increase the likelihood of an offer being enticing to any visitor you get on your site? Is the distinction between informational and commercial intent enough?

How do you actually validate demand for a digital product?

Is it straightforward? Or is it an abstract process?

I have a site about anti-phishing; ozarc.io

I wanted to make like an ‘anti-phishing almanack’ to promote to that audience.

But should I look and do research on whats already selling in this space? Is it a good idea to test as long as it makes sense given the audience?

How do you guys approach launching / validating a new digital product?

Is blogging still a legit opportunity?

Im trying to wrap my head around online business. I’m trying to wrap my head around.. what are valuable opportunities?

Im suffering from shiny object syndrome. I have a blog but writing into nothingness. It is hard to determine whether this will pay off and if AI threatens this opportunity.

How does one play pike&shot properly in M2EX?

Pike&shot feels actually playable now since they don't automatically pull out swords instead of holding their pike.

But my musketeers won't stay in alignment as seen in the picture because the target isn't exactly in front of the tercio formation.

How should you play pike & shot? What are the best tips? Should you keep skirmish and defensive mode off on the musketeers?

How do you set up your actual formations, 2 lines of pikemen with 1 musketeer unit at the front between the pikes? Or do you have the gunners behind your musketeers? Do you bring artillery?

Sorry for the amount of questions.

How do I stop enemy factions from casually sailing to my shores and marching around my country?

Having a blast with m2ex.

Playing as England.

Poland, Denmark and Portugal just easily and out of nowhere just sail to my coast and besiege a settlement in like 1 turn. What should I do against it?

Have more presence at sea?

What information or tip improved your succes in Tarkov the most? [Discussion]

For me it must've been the knowledge of NOT holding an angle when you're in a firefight and your opponent knows your location.

I've been trying to understand the term and the different conceptions surrounding it.

Some say its subjective: a glass of water in london vs in the desert for example.

Others claim it is simply supply vs. demand.

Some say it's simply the gap between where your prospect is, and where they want to be. You help them achieve an outcome, whether practical, informational or emotional.

"Profit is the result of value creation, not the goal." But how? Does that mean that content you create and distribute for example, as a way to deliver value, will always work?

Trying to wrap my head around this.
