Community College student with Master's Degree in Intro Classes

I'm going back to school to switch careers and need to take Intro classes because the atomic structure and basic human anatomy & physiology has changed sooo much in 25 years. One of my instructors is fresh with his PhD, teaching at a community college, and demands to be called "Doctor" or "Dr. Mohammed" before the jackazz is 30.

I call him Hammy because he has neither earned respect from his colleagues nor done anything to progress science... just bologna. He didn't like it until I wrote out how to make chloroform in scientific formula from memory (ex-Army). He is now under the impression that I'm his TA and will guide HIM!

I can't figure out this 10 year rule. At first I thought it was only a money making scheme but I'm starting to think it's to train incompetent GenZ teachers. It really feels like we are no longer a "try, try again, ask for guidance" civilization but rather a "I don't know, do it for me, great now do it until I die" society.

Why do we always remain under the threat of nonsense taxes? Jim Kenney's Soda Tax meant more for Diet Soda "for the schools" while over 70% went to govt pensions. Parker wanted to tax us for ride shares & food delivery... for the schools.

Does anyone else feel like bad parents make childless people the "bad guy" for not making their mistakes?

I live in Philadelphia where everyone's problems are someone else's fault. Parents beraid me for not having kids because their lives went to shit. "Why don't you ask me to babysit so I can get some peace?" as attempts to become my problem. "You made your choice (5 times over) so why does this become my problem due to proximity?".

Too much fun with realtor who was overly enthusiastic about the "baby's room" to my gf & I (35ish).

My gf and I were looking to buy a house because our jobs moved. The realtor we drew was a strange (possibly medicated) woman who wanted to get right to work. She didn't have us sign anything to bind the relationship or ask any questions about us. Just go...go...go... except for one thing... babies.

Just an unnecessary amount of presumption about our intentions. We got to the house 2BR (1 of which was the "baby's room")/1 Bath and it was alright, not bad. But this woman just wouldn't stop about the baby's room. I told her my gf has fibroids and I have pedophobia from the desert (this is true).

She asked "Well then, if you're choosing to not have children, what do you intend on doing with this room?". That's it!!!

I'm going to rip out all the imbedded baby furniture to make a work space, then I'm chop up the crib to make the frame for a bar/entertainment center, and put in this couch that she has her eye on". Turns to my gf...

​

"What about you?". She says "I'm going to masturbate on the couch while he's ripping up the room, drink the liquor from the bar, and call a structural engineer ". Dumbest mistake ever..."Why do you need a structural engineer? The house is plenty stable ".

Gotta decide between a large fishtank or a sex swing 🤣

After a TBI and a dead leg from war, can I call "abled" people retarded when acting mentally deficient?

I have a legit combat injury but people with a whole brain (about 5% of my brain is in the Iraqi desert) say things that are beyond dumb (MAGA, I didn't know I would get caught, etc).

100% problems

I'm not sure what's worse. Explaining how I'm 100% for life or explaining that I had to "retire" after I was granted 100% because of a clinical mistake at the VA hospital.

It makes me sound like a pogue to others but lying is worse. The decline is bad from going from soldier to veteran to DV to forgotten...
