Hi, so I'm a first year university student and something awful happened in class today. The prof asked me why I didn't wish to become a doctor (I had pursued pre-medical subjects in highschool but switched fields in uni) and I panicked because he called onto me very suddenly.

I was so confused and scared cuz the prof has a reputation of biting students' heads off for saying the wrong thing that I blurted out the first thing that came in my mind: “Because I vomit when I see blood"

And then the professor called me disgusting, uneducated, uncultured and how women nowadays are not taught to be reserved in men's presence and are not taught etiquettes. And the entire class laughed.

I'm home and his words keep ringing in my ears and I've been crying ever since and I just feel so awful and confused and upset.

So, teachers, did I really cross a line in class? Did I really say a vulgar thing? Would you embarrass a student in class for saying those words? I get that it might not be a formal response but I was just so panicked that I said the first thing that came in my head.

I've never had male teachers before I went to an all-girls' school and like I said, I'm from a pre-medical background so back there we used to say this kind of stuff in front of teachers all the time. Heck, no one even batted an eye at ‘sex' too.

I just found out that in UET and other unis, if you get in at least one of the programs even if it's lowest in your preference, you are REQUIRED to pay the admission fees and secure the seat and ONLY THEN you will be considered for the subsequent seats even in OTHER PROGRAMS.

So I have a few questions:

1. Suppose I get in Computer Science self-support at New Campus, but my target preference is Data Science self-support or Data Science morning, do I HAVE TO secure that Computer Science seat to be considered for the later Data Science merit lists?

2. If I get in the old campus for a program, do I HAVE to secure that seat, even if I wanna get into Data Science in New Campus?

Someone please clarify I'm so stressed rn.

Plz dm if you can. I need to know ask stuff that only a 3rd/4th can answer.

And after Semester 1, do they pay the uni themselves provided you maintain your GPA? Or do you have to deposit fees every semester and you get refunded later?

...and I pay the fees an secure the seat and later on, it comes in the morning session for that very program, would I be allowed to transfer?

Has anyone done this?

Also like if I get in and secure my seat in the campus but later on get in the New Campus, could I withdraw and transfer? Are the fees refunded?

And if your name appears in a merit list and you get admission, will your name appear in subsequent merit lists of other programs?

For FCIT/PUCIT.

I've heard some ppl online say they are and some say they're not. Do you know any replica kids personally who got this scholarship?

Guys, PU is my target university and UET is the safety school I applied to.

But since the PU merit lists will come out later and UET merit lists are coming out tomorrow, if I get in and deposit the fees and later get into PU, will I get refunded?

Google AI says the admission fee won't be refunded even before the commencement of classes. Like wth they will keep 54k?? How do kids who apply to multiple unis manage this? All unis' merit lists should come out around the same time!

I'm reading ACOWAR for the first time and Azriel is helping Feyre learn to fly. And he said it's inappropriate to touch someone's wings amongst their kind. And Feyre notes that he says THEIR kind, not his own

It's been a while since I read ACOMAF (two years 😬) but I clearly remember Azriel being Illyrian. I remember Rhys being half-Illyrian cuz he can make his wings go but Azriel can't. Am I missing anything? Was it mentioned in ACOMAF? Is Azriel half idk shadow-singer? 😭😭

I did read some parts of ACOMAF before starting this book but I must've missed this part.

...and I'm at the part when Cassian and Azriel rescue Feyre and Lucien. And I'm giggling so hard that Azriel has to carry Lucien as they fly back home. I wish there was more description given. I wanna know if he carried him bridal style. 🤭

Does anyone have any fanfic recommendations where they kiss? Like a one-shot maybe.

And oh it's awful what Ianth did to Lucien. I'm upset that Feyre didn't kill her. I hope Ianth dies and Lucien is the one to do it cuz what she did to him is just horrible.

And the Hybern prince and princess were interesting characters...until they lasted. I honestly thought they'd have a more important role.

And oh another fanfic request! In ACOMAF, Rhys talks about how his dad killed Tamlin's family and Tamlin killed his dad and how they became High Lords in front of each other. I really want to read this scene if there's a fanfic about that night. I feel like it would be a super intense and emotional read.
