Ok I'm about 600 pages into CC1 (the boat scene) ...

...wth do you mean Hunt wanted the Synth? How can he be so stupid? Like he was literally a murder mystery and ten kills away from freedom it was coming to him already! Like why would he do that? I'm ready to believe that his other pals planned this whole out and then sort of got him on it cuz we haven't heard if they'd had their own bargains with Micah.

Also Danika killing herself doesn't surprise me as much as creep me tf out. Like how was she so stable in her last days if she was a raging addict. This is honestly so scary to think about because I really liked Danika and she was so cute and protective over Bryce and then she turned out to be a freak. Like I don't even understand. She was going to go pick up Bryce from he club, right? And then she was like nahh lemme do this real quick and got so high she killed everyone around her and herself.

Left back LITERAL FREAKIN PILES OF PULP

How irresponsible for a guardian of the city like omg she must be more clever than this?

I'm so scared of Danika now.

And Hunt to which is a pity because I really REALLY liked him. I can see how the romance between Micah and Bryce might begin now. They seem so mate-y

Also please tell me can I like Fury? I really like her too and I don't wanna like her if she becomes unsafe later on.

Also idk why I'm imagining Tharion in a polkadot bra any fanart would be of major help 😕

Have a happy day! 💗

EDIT: I read the Micah scene and now I'm in tears!

Also wth were the Walking Dead and the Book of Breathings doing there? I read ACOMAF two years ago but I kinda recall that the cauldron had made this book and that the half of it was at the Summer Court and the other half somewhere else. Is it the other half?

And the Walking Dead was in >!Aelin's apartment in Rifthold,!< yes? How did IT just transcend space and come to this world? Is it a copy? 😭😭😭

So I'm like almost 300 pages into CC1...

...and I think this Micah guy is going to be her mate. Like Bryce was super attracted to him and then Hunt kind of masked it? I feel like Hunt is the >!Chaol/Tamlin!< of this book and Micah is the actual guy.

Cuz like he's at the very top of the whole system, antagonized at first like Rhysand was, he ignored Bryce in their first meeting and was super nonchalant and then when he threatened Hunt to not touch Bryce THAT HAD ME SWOONING.

Especially now that we know that the angel Bryce had saved was Micah! I'm literally giggling and kicking my feet. I went back to re-read the scene and he's so calm and patient with her, all brushing her knee and trying to comfort her WHEN HIS OWN CHEST HAS BEEN CLEAVED OPEN.

Sooo rooting for them AHHHH

Thanks for listening to my thoughts have a happy day! 💜💙💜

EDIT:

“I'd like to take you to dinner, Bryce Quinlan" “Not interested"

We'll see how long that holds 🤭🤭🤭 I'm saving donuts for their Chapter 55

EDIT 2:

So I think that Ruhn and the medwitch are gonna be another ToG spoiler >!Dorian and Sorscha!<

Tharion is weird.

I don't like Danika's mom.

And Micah isn't showing up again and I want him to so bad. My heart flutters a bit everytime he's mentioned. When will he come up again I'm on the part where Hunt and Bryce are going to question Sabine

Also I wanna live in Lunathion. How am I already so attached to this city and sooo many characters? Like for other fantasy series, it takes me till book 2 or 3 to give a damn about the characters but SJM's characters are something else.

And I love Lehabah, her and Bryce give such Marinette and Tiki vibes but make it 18+

And Bryce's workplace is so cool. I also really like Jesiba. She gives such reluctant guardian vibes. Her and Bryce should cuddle.

I really like Hunt I don't want anything to happen to him. He should cuddle Micah. Or Ruhn maybe.

Celaena Sardothein

Who picked that name? Aelin herself or did Arobynn name her that?

I remember in The Assassin's Blade it's mentioned that Arobynn introduces her as his niece in public spaces. Did the Sardothein family name actually exist (perhaps Arobynn's relatives or something) or did they just come up with it?

Guys I was 11 in the community event...

...but I ended up not getting the pony. Unfortunately I don't have any screenshots. Is there still a way for me to contact support?

This was my first ever time reaching that high and I also had Tempest so I was so excited to get the pony.

Please recommend your favorite fastfood/junk-food romantasies, I need to come down from the high of epic fantasy.

I'm talking books like Fourth Wing, Assistant to the Villain, Arcana Academy etc. It should be:

not a standalone but also no longer than a trilogy

not cozy romance.

should be completed.

no urban fantasy.

easy to get into.

I really liked the world Arcana Academy was set in so if you know any fantasies with cards and magic tricks, I'd really like them.

Thanks and have a happy day! 💕

“Once upon a time, in a land long since burnt to ash, there lived a princess who loved her kingdom very much."

Why wouldn't Aelin want to think of her kingdom as lasting forever? I'm assuming “a land long since burnt to ash" is Terrasen.

I don't understand why she'd assume her kingdom would be destroyed, and that too by fire.

...on Aelin's birthday. I didn't plan for it. I didn't even KNOW it was Aelin's birthday today until I finished the series and came here and saw a post. 😭😭😭

But I feel so overwhelmed my hands are shaking. How does one even move on from these books? I have been doing nothing but reading these books from morning till night for the past two months.

I know I still have a lot to read. Queen of Glass and the famous Dorian and Manon fanfic (I'm looking forward to it a lot cuz I didn't feel like Manon got a very happy ending) and ACOTAR and Crescent City. Honestly, the theory that all three series will merge together later on is the only thing keeping me stable rn.

How did you all move on from the hangover? I don't do re-reads so it was sort of my good-bye to the books. Maybe I'll read it again twenty years from here.

Thanks for listening to my rant. Have a nice day! 💕

I just read the part where Aelin is >!world-walking or should I say falling, and she falls through Velaris!<. I've seen sooo may theories that the ToG world is the past, the ACOTAR world is the present with the CC world being the future. Because it states that >!Aelin falls through the worlds AND time!<.

But I've just read that scene and there's no indication that she fell through time as well? Someone please point it out where it says she fell through time, I've read that scene twice now.

Thankss 💗💗

Since ACOTAR, CC and possibly ToG are merging together, would it affect the ACOTAR TV adaptation? Like would they eventually have to bring all three series to TV so it makes sense for the non-reader fans?

It was so gross to me that Erawan is attracted to Manon. Cuz like when I didn't know about the whole Manon-crochan plot, I was CONVINCED Erawan would be her father cuz she has Valg King eyes.

And there's also a scene in EoS when Erawan is sort of defending her against the Matrons and I was sold that she'd be his daughter.

Do we get an explanation for why Manon specifically has the Kings' eyes?

Also the fact that Maeve was trembling when Dorian asked her seduce Erawan made me feel so sorry for her.

I mean the things she did to Fenrys and Connall and Aelin are not redeemable at all but it made me think that perhaps Maeve had not been so bad when she had left her world, but got corrupted over time. Like maybe she was made to feel so helpless that controlling others completely was her way of feeling safe at last.

But ofc she could've played it all out differently instead of ruining so many lives.

Does anyone else feel that way or is something wrong with me 😭😭

I also started feeling sorry for Arobynn at some point. I love how the villains in ToG have layers and are not one-dimensional like Amarantha or the King of Hybern.

...then why not make him >!forge the Lock!<? He's also of Elena's bloodline. I'm 2/3 done with Kingdom of Ash but I just randomly had this thought. Like we don't even know if Hollin has magic, maybe he does. Why did nobody ever consider this possibility?
