Debating about buying a 2010, have some questions

hello, im currently looking at a 2010 with 112k miles...asking price is $7k. First few questions is, is the price good for the miles/yr, how reliable are these cars, Its an AWD so how good is the AWD system in them, anything i should look for option wise/maintenance wise.

EDIT: still have not heard back from the seller but will make sure to grab the vin, ask a lot about the history and so on. The interior looks mint with nice covers but the guy didn't have much photos so waiting entirely on them now to continue

F82 M4 vs E92 M3 People who have owned both need your insight.

Im looking to return to bmw, I have my eyes set on the F82 or E92 M3... The last time i owned a bmw was when i had my M340, was making around 480HP and it was the perfect amount of power. I havnt been able to really drive the F82 or E92 M3 as the test drives were all under 5mins and under 40MPH, cars werent even warmed up so i have no real experience with either, I did own a e92 335i for a few years so i love the hydralic steering feel.

Now my question is, Those who have owned both, driven both...What would you pick to own if someone were to say "Pick one to be your forever car, the one you dont pick you will never drive again" because i cant for the life of me decide on which one id want to buy once i find a spec...Ive been going back and forth for months and i just cant pick. I want the power to be able to send me into my seat but still enjoyable, I know nothing beats the steering feel of the e9x but i also heard the power doesnt really hit, but the sound and driving makes up for it, the F82 has the power and from what im told better handling but not the best steering or sound.

I need some opinions, cause i cant for the life of me pick, Im in NJ so its going to be hard to find a good spec in either cars so i got time.

EDIT:: it seems the E92 wins by a LONG SHOT LOL. I will add, this will be my daily driver. From a shopping POV, the E92 seems to be getting far rarer to find, My budget is max 40k and its becoming very hard to find a clean no accident E92 while the F82 seems to have more options which i think is the reason why im being pulled back and forth here.

Questions about MSP work. Could use some opinions

Hello, Im currently an IT tech for my towns board of education. I have an amazing team and im slowly learning more within other aspects of Tech like networking and sys admin, slowly but its something lol. I recently got an offer for a MSP that handles i believe 3k clients, same pay but idk if its worth switching jobs.

I know working in MSP will teach me a lot more but i also hear its mentally draining and very much awful experience but i also hear its good but only if you work for a good MSP which im seeing is rare.

Im told the MSP will give a $5k pay raise if review after 6 months is good so its not 100% id be making more money, Id like to hear more about those who have worked in similar MSP jobs.

EDIT: would also like to add, my current job, the network team and sys admin team both allow me to shadow them whenever i have time which is why im slowly learning from them lol.

M340 down to a loaded LCI 330 question

Hi all, I sold my pre LCI m340 back in March of 2025... Life hit me with a layoff in 2024 and I just couldn't find work until a year later...So sold the M340 while I was able to make money from it. Fast forward to now, I'm in a stable job but making a bit less... Now I drive a loaded cx30 but it's just mentally draining me as I don't wanna drive the car at all and just drive to work in it and back home...

My question is, I drove a fully loaded LCI 330 and it genuinely felt very nice but as I'm used to my M340, the speed just felt ok as a normal car right, but everything else felt nice..much more enjoyable than my current car...has anyone downgraded from their M340 into a loaded 330? Do you regret it or was it the right call for you until you were in a better spot income wise... I'm on the fence so figured I'd ask here and get opinions. I found 2 330s near me, one has the dynamic handling pack as well while the other doesn't so wondering how others felt making the switch

Those with an EDC and Main system, have a question for yall?

So ive never had an everyday carry camera, Whenever i shoot i use my main Lumix S5ii, Recently ive been thinking about getting an EDC but heres my question to you guys now.

  • Do you genuinely use your EDC?
  • How often does it come with you?
  • Are you using it cause you already spent the money and dont want it to sit around?
  • Do you will see yourself using/bringing your main setup instead?

I ask these questions because i cant for the life of me decide if i need one or will use the way i imagine myself using it in my head. Like i like the idea of it but idk if ill put the idea to use and instead just bring my main camera.

Those who have the S5ii and S9

Hi all, quick question as im in the market for a compact mirrorless. I recently bought a Fuji XT30iii thinking it was a good daily but after using it for a week i just never got connected to it, and i found myself not enjoying my time with it. My main camera is my Lumix S5ii and was wondering if getting the S9 worth as i do love the colors my s5ii makes and i always love shooting with it but want something smaller to bring with me as a daily driver as the S5ii is a big camera.

So my question is, those who have both, Do you like the combo? Do you use the s9 a lot even with the bigger brother? How is it as a daily. Also any other recommendations are welcomed.

Fuji 35mm f/2 or Fuji 35mm f/1.4 ( or another suggestion)

Just picked up my first ever Fuji yesterday the X-T30iii and I've been back and forth on what lens to get with it. My main camera is a Lumix S5ii and I have that paired with my lumix s 85mm 1.8 and my sigma 35mm 1.4... I want a lens I can take with me and not really notice it's there if that makes sense but also allow me to tell a story with the photos as my 85/35mm do on my Lumix. The f/2 is cheaper and newer I hear with weather sealing, I'm also open to other options within the $350 range or cheaper... If not which out of the 2 would you guys suggest

I also added a few photos as reference as to what I shoot and my style.

Need opinions on a fujifilm Camera

So i thought i was dead set on the XE3 until i saw the price on them on ebay, Body only in good condition im seeing average $700. I then got introduced to the Xt30ii but with that, ebay listings are shooting at like $850+... i then decided to check the Xt30iii and saw the price was right near the other 2 options and now im lost.

I currently shoot on a lumix S5ii and i do street photography with landscape. However i have days where i just dont wanna be carrying around the heavy body and lens so im looking for a compact mirrorless, is the Xt30iii the best within my $1200 budget in the fuji lineup?

Undecided on which Fuji to go with.

As of now, im looking at the XE3, Im looking for a small compact mirrorless where i can take with me and it kinda disappears until i need it. My current kit is a lumix S5ii with a 35mm 1.4 and a 85mm 1.8, My film setup is a minolta x700 with a 50mm rokkor 1.7.

I want an experience over best tech if that makes sense, I do a lot of street photography, photos that can tell a story, like a dream/warm colors, film like style. Ideally my budget is under $1k for both the body and lens but can maybe go to 1200.

Question about pension, Need some inputs please

So i work for the board of ed in my area, with that comes a pension. I get around $300 out of my check which gets put into my pension. Now my question is, since i dont plan on staying at this job for another year or 2, should i stop the pension and just invest more into my roth and other investments or should i keep the pension regardless. It is not getting matched, and i believe the pension is only worth if i plan on being there for the rest of my life.

Am i wrong for thinking my money would be better off being put into my roth and stuff rather than the pension if i dont plan on sticking to this job?

Hi all, i recently found out that the s5ii is holding very good value used and i can pretty much resell for just about what i bought it for, and it has me thinking about selling to jump into the s1rii...I mainly do street photography and slowly getting into videos. My main lens right now is the sigma 35 f1.4 and the lumix S F1.8 85mm. Is this a pointless and tasteless thought or is the upgrades that noticable that it makes sense.
