Missed Garbage Pickup

We put the wrong bin out (recycling) and then by the time I swapped it (10am) we had missed the pickup apparently. We called several times and have been reassured that a truck will come by any day now. It’s been days… what’s your experience? Should we take it to the dump? There’s definitely no more room to wait another 2 weeks…

Dropsy?

Tell me it ain’t so… my daughter’s heart is breaking.

Update: we put him to sleep with some clove oil and had a little burial ceremony. Should we treat the remainder of the tank with kanaplex? Some of the other guys seem like they might be getting it as they are swimming ever so slightly askew.

Fence overspray

Was doing neighbours fence and got some overspray on the siding of this house when we were rinsing. Used sodium metasillicate followed by oxalic acid (power rinsed between coats) so not sure exactly what got on there…. Recommendations for getting it off?

2018 Nissan Frontier SL V6. The metal “scraping” sound coming from what I’m guessing are the breaks (stops when I break although the breaks are squeaky too).

Seems like it’s coming from the water inlet assembly. Maybe a hairline crack? I can’t see much but it’s all wet down there and dripping from multiple places. Plus the sound. Any advice is appreciated.

Think about it next time you listen to AC/DC. It is one of those things that incapsulates certain moments in his vocals, not all the time, but when he leans into that raspier, more strained delivery it can really stand out and almost feel like a different character cutting through the track. Once you notice it in those sections, it kind of sticks in your head even when the rest of the song sounds totally normal again.
