Fully certified-Feeling discouraged

Hello,

Started the process of becoming a sterile processing tech about a year ago.

Had its ups and downs, was a lot of work, but I ended up completing clinicals and becoming fully certified last Spring.

Since then I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs.. even though I’m really looking for part time, I would take a full time position and have been applying to any sterile processing position in my general area, which is a HCOL major city.

I have a solid resume and cover letter, but cannot get a single interview.

I know the job market across the board is dismal, but can anyone offer any advice? Are there any staffing agencies like a travel company that will take entry level techs?

I’m getting really discouraged and thinking of going back to school again, for another career route.

Thanks!

EEE Test Preparation and Drivers License?

Hello,

I apologize if this information is available elsewhere, I’ve been having trouble finding it.

So from my understanding, signing up for the EMS Training program, you sign up via OASys, then take the EEE exam.

Is the EEE Exam one that can be studied for? Do I take it upon signing up or at a testing center?

I also do not drive. But my girlfriend has a car and I can get my license as soon out as 2 months from now. Do I need to have it upon signing up, or do I just need to be licensed by the time my number is reached?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

MMW: Someone from Trump’s team standing with him during a press conference will casually hit a vape on live television, and pretend it is normal.

Date: Sometime in the near future. Goes without saying, but this is just part of the slow trajectory into one of the dumbest time periods in history.

Evidence: If vapes were around when Idiocracy was being filmed, this would totally happen in the movie and it would be fucking hilarious.

How long after log# drop did you receive a request for documents?

Maybe I’m obsessing a little too much over this, which is counterintuitive being a lottery and all..

But I just got my lowest log number (one waterline square waitlist) and was wondering what a possible timeline to submit documents could look like

Thanks!

Wondering whether this is safe to cook with

Hello!

I have an old Lodge Dutch oven here.. not exactly sure how this happened. I tried scrubbing it with Barkeepers Friend. Any advice on how to restore this, or whether it’s salvageable would be greatly appreciate!
