This is mostly to control spam from 3rd parties promoting non-spade products.
It’s okay for users to discuss spades adjacent content.

2. The game of Spades ♠️** has many rule option**s
There is no governing body for the game to determine what is the official way to play.
Your way of playing no more official than any other player’s version of the game. Be respectful of how others enjoy to play.

3. Bullying, harassment, and toxic behaviors are unacceptable
If you feel you are being harassed or bullied, please alert a mod.
If a mod sees a post or comment that is toxic, it will likely be removed. Continued toxic behavior will lead to removal from the community.

4. Vulgarity Bigotry and Hate Speech
So far, we have a permitted vulgarity, as long as it was not in the form of harassment. However, Reddit’s auto moderation will almost always flag vulgar posts and comments. We cannot guarantee that this content will get approved in a timely fashion.
Bigotry, hate speech, racial, slurs, etc. are completely unacceptable and do not belong in this sub

5. Spade Game App developer promotion
If you are developing a Spades game or similar, do not post it about it on the main thread. …. Use the highlighted developers discussion thread.

We are excited to see what you are creating however, the volume of promotion and updates and introductions to Spades apps is causing a negative impact on the community.

We are in a new age of technology where AI is making digital game creation incredibly easy compared to the effort required in the past.

It seems a significant increase in postings regarding the intro of a new spades app or newly released updates to spades apps are constantly being posted.

One community I am in was tired of for-sale posts clogging up the content - they solved that by creating a separate stickied post for sellers to list their items - maybe this is a good solution for game developers to promote and discuss their games?

What ideas do you have ? Thanks !

My username and logo featuring the text "Created by Spadesquiz" appears on a great many of your Reddit posts marketing your games. Please correct this asap.

The eBay account that is used for buying and selling is ~20 years old, Top Rated with 100% positive feedback. A new project led to us joining EPN for the first time. I googled or asked AI for advice on whether to join EPN under our current eBay account or to set up it another. It recommended we set up another eBay account to link to our EPN.

I love how they say the decision was not made lightly:

We wanted to let you know that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk. We understand that this must be frustrating, but this decision was not made lightly

-Then this letter from EPN-
During a recent review, we identified your eBay account has been suspended. To participate in eBay Partner Network, your eBay account must be in good standing at all times. As this violates our EPN Network Agreement and breaches the agreement between us, your account will be terminated immediately, and 100% of your pending commissions will be reversed. You are not allowed to rejoin the eBay Partner Network.

I tried getting on the phone with EPN,, they wouldn't take my call from eBay support, said to email. I emailed and haven't heard back in about 4 days now. I reached back out to eBay seller support and requested a letter explaining that my account was never not in good standing.

What else can I do?

I sell in a niche where eBay's robust search result filters are extremely valuable to most of my customers. If a customer finds an item of mine they like and then goes to my store, the user experience is immediately downgraded. The filters they used that brought them to my item don't exist any more. Frustrated, they leave without shopping for items to bundle.

I am thinking about closing my eBay store to fix this. Any other suggestions?
