Otherwise idk what the point is of stretching thin the talent, using up jokes, animation gags, etc. in this lesser show? It must be a whole other team right? Like. Right? This must be a training grounds for Future Rick and Morty creators.

Someone with the attention span should really do a juicy deep dive on this subject but I’ll lay it out. the end credits song, The Word Becomes Flesh by Boards of Canada, with lyrics sampled from a documentary of how embryos form, but the way they sample it is with this like chopped up like stilted kinda rhythm (that still slaps) and sometimes a deeper more obscured voice sometimes with extra emphasis.

The lyrics aren’t cut up and moved around though,, they’re just the information about how embryos grow and form as it is in the original presentation they sampled from….

I think this song is like basically how the Backrooms Still Lives are made,,, like this plays when they are conceived, developing, and born.. it’s funky twist on the process while still being something recognizable and based in reality… Still Lives for real wow.

Someone should though look at the lyrics and do a deeper deep dive,, like what parts the modulation kicks in on what those words are? I wouldn’t be super duper surprised if this was written for this movie… or even picked by boards of Canada for it and tweaked or whatever.. whatever

I see this all the time people saying 3 is where it should’ve ended. Personally I believe it’s good for this to keep going and for them to keep making content of it because it is such an original idea, why not make a 4th if you have an idea? A 5th? 6th? Sure 3 would’ve been a great ending but seriously who doesn’t want more great animation? Great character designs, great guest actors. I haven’t seen the 5th yet but even if it’s a banger wrap
up ending you can’t tell me I won’t be wanting a 6th installment anyway.
