I usually occasionally troll here to lighten mood but this time I will be serious.

I will be 30 "in few years" and I know its kind of far away but knowing that youth is over is kind of weird feeling. I guess it has been over for a while but now its really actually over.

I think birthdays stopped being fun after 21 and now every single birthday is a reminder that the powerful currents of time bring with it an unstoppable wave of sadness.

Anyway what happened to you after 30? People already making jokes that I am unc and pushing 90. At first it was I guess a little funny but now I kind of just fake laugh just go along with it. I never made boomer jokes so I don't deserve this.

By 30 my parents had already been married with house and kids. I am single renting and zero kid lol... Whats even worse is I don't think thats changing anytime soon. Finished college, make 6 figures (so exactly 100k on the dot lmao... but saying six figures sounds more fancy) and things still feel tight. Part of this was due to a stupid car lease, but its gone now and I ride bike or take transit now to try and save harder.

I bring this up in Scottsdale sub because I moved here from East coast and wonder if this place is not good for finding people. Everyone already seems to be together and yes I already tried pickelball on Meetup... But whole team is literally like Serena Williams (the tennis woman) and its emberassing making whole game restart over and over so I left. The last group I joined the guy did mid air flip before hitting the ball.

Should I leave Scottsdale what is best state for finding someone? What happened to you at 30 assuming anyone here is above that? Thanks

Is this some kind of joke? No way its already time to be inside all day long until October.

Everyone who lives here longterm is built different, there is no other way to explain it. I visit some random park in California and it has more activity then the entire city of Phoenix. Scottsdale is overall a nice area (except some drivers) but its just the mall selling designer trash at 5000% markup and golfing. I can only go to the aquarium so many times you know...

So I think people who live here have a lot of family here with house and pool. Or are just chornically depressed and numb or on drugs. Because there is no way.

Also for the people outside in shirt and shorts midday when UV index is like 12, do you enjoy thought of looking like an orange leather bag in few years? The people in middle east are wrapped up not just for religous reasons just FYI.

This is my rant, its a real shame because in the WINTER hiking and the sunsets here are really nice, probably top in the whole country. I trash the snowbirds for horrendous driving, but they know what theyre doing leaving this hell state for half the year.

Just purchased a Horse hair TurboBlaze and was wondering if it was dishwasher safe to clean? I threw away the manual instantly and forget to check. Cannot and will not manually clean dishes since its gross and takes too much time.

The guy is 28 and somehow finding apparently infinite amount of 18-20 year old men, whatever thats their business. However its really distracting and annoying, I dont know if I should confront him. This usually happnes 3-4x a day...

I got a brown noise machine loop and indoor waterfall sounds on to try and mask it. Also wearing Airpod Max but I still can hear it sometimes.

How do you even confront someone about this, he is usually pretty nice outside of this but we do not talk much since we have pretty different interests.

I have a ebike that I've been using for commuting/errands to try and not buy another car which should save money if I stop buying a ton of accesories for the bike...

But I was wondering is geting a mirror on the left side will it look kind of like weird or people will think Im like a dork?

I ride in bike lane but I get kind of nervous sometimes not being able to see traffic behind me.

So I ordered last month the roll top bag/large rear basket and it came with an allen wrench to unscrew the bolts. I thought this wrench would work for all of the attachment points since it was for attaching the rear basket to the LevelUp rear rack.

But no it works for all of the accessory attachment points EXCEPT for the 4 in the front right above that USELESS "Pro" light that sags 24/7.

So guess what I go through my toolbox because I have a ton of spare hex keys. NOT A SINGLE HEX KEY FIT. Some of them were very close but as soon as I applied tension it would start stripping the screw.

So I had to stop my whole light frame mount project to order a proper metric hex key set because Lectric likes to troll its owners and make the 4 front bolts slightly larger than LITERALLY ALL THE OTHERS.

So this is just a PSA if you dont want to lose your mind and spend hours looking for hex keys and stripping everything.

I shouldnt even need to do this on a brand new bike. But for some reason Lectric for past year has just decided to continue shipping a POS front "Pro" light on the XP4. Maybe they'll adjust it when someone gets killed trying to re-align the light backup in the middle of the night.

I'm sensing this brand cuts corners everywhere, hope Im wrong but not a great start so far between this dumb light and the stupid hydraulic front brake that keeps misaligning. Brand new by the way.

Our neighbors have this giant million dollar boat parked in front of their house. Its a huge eye sore, seeing the greenery/plants and then this huge giant black object just in your face EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU OPEN YOUR EYES. It doesn't blend in with anything, and we have asked politely. They refused to move it...

Boats should be banned or only allowed in designated areas/marina's by the lake.

If you want A BOAT THEN MOVE TO FLORIDA. This is ARIZONA I did not move here to see giant boats parked in front of everyones house. Not to mention there is an elementary school 8 miles away and this is a safety hazard. We dont need a bomber hiding in the boat like the Boston bombing guy. Finally it scares the birds, we've noticed birds preferring the next tree over ever since. So he is also ruining the natural life here too.
