When do you feel is a good time for a team or franchise to introduce a new uniform? I have a few thoughts, and I'll share them below. This is in no way to be taken as gospel. This is all just for discussion.

**1. When the current uniform sets are disliked by the fanbase & the minimum season requirement is fufilled.** Essentially, when a team made a mistake by introducing a new look, and 3-5 years later its still not well recieved. Examples would be the Buccaneers & Falcons most recently.

**2. At the start of a new Era/big milestone.** This should be expected when a team hits a big milestone, starts a new chapter, or opens a new stadium/arena/field. For example, teams like the Red Wings, Blackhawks, and other original 6 franchises put out new uniforms for their centennial seasons. The New England Patriots changed their uniforms at the end of the Brady Era. The Bills most recently put out a uniform when they are about to play their next season in a new stadium.

**3. When there is a league initiative for a new alternative.** This is a bit of a cop out, but league wide initiatives such as City Connect, Reverse Retro, and Rivalries gives team a free pass to put out something fresh.

**4. Never. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.** For teams like the Yankees, Packers, Canadiens, Celtics. This is specifically for primary uniform kits.

**5. When the current look is dated & the team isn't playing well.** This is the most subjective take. But sometimes its just *time* to shake things up. Example would be a team like the Atlanta Hawks in recent memory. But its not the rule of thumb, for example, I don't think the NY Jets should have altered their uniforms. But to each is own.

Dishonorable mention: The worst time a team could choose to introduce or change their primary uniform is following a championship season.

What do you all think?

This went from a show that I was genuinely invested in to a show I now tune into "hate watch." After the events of season 5, Im curious what some potential storylines are that could make season 6 actually interesting.

SEASON 5 SPOILERS BELOW:

Kyle gives they therapist thing a try in his senior year. He finds that he can't solve everyones problems but knows who can; God. By the end of the season, he joins the church post graduation to take on an apprenticeship of sorts.

Ronnie reimagines the Bike Barn to be an e-bike rental service for the community. With the influx of tourists via Cal's baseball team and with Helen's connections in the mayor's office, his business becomes a third-party means of unofficial public transport, which also frees up his time.

Dana Sue is still mad at Ronnie and starts a fling with Clark, much to Maddie and Helen's disapproval. The friction between the Magnolias projects a potential failure to the newly opened business space the three share.

Concurrently, Annie is at college finding herself in another love triangle, but this time, its another woman blocking her from a new guy she met at college. Discouraged, she finds herself leaning on Noah, then Ty, and ultimately Kyle, where he helps her realize that she has unhealthy relationship patterns with love interests. Annie then becomes the voice of reason to Dana Sue and helps reunite her family.

Cal is busy doing baseball things, and connecting with Ty long distance. With Kyle on his own adventure, Maddie finds herself spending more time with Katie (finally) and wants to mentor her on her career as an author and distributor. She quickly is met with the issue of working on this Novella novel, but can't bring Katie in for obvious reasons. She attempts to write another children's story with her daughty but struggles to find balance between this, the new business, and the spa. Katie comes through with a new story all of her own and actually gives her character some depth.

What would you all pitch if you had to write Season 6?
