Why does my car make this noise in reverse?
My car (2003 Mazda tribute 4 cylinder) has made this noise ever since I got it (3 months ago) that sounds like a cat is being actively attacked by a vacuum cleaner. It’s a standard transmission if that helps to diagnose easier. Is it the transmission itself or something else? I can’t imagine it’s the differential, since it’s coming from the rear

‘03 Silverado lock indicators are reversed?
I don’t have a video of it yet but I just noticed that when I press the lock button it will properly lock all the doors, but the driver and passenger door indicators show two different things. One shows the red strip to indicate locked and the other doesn’t to indicate an unlocked door. How would one go about fixing this?

Why do we make people pay fines for doing something bad instead of punishing them with community service or something?
Okay hear me out. I know we do sometimes punish with community service but why not all the time? Maybe I’m just thinking irrationally, but with making them pay fines they get the easy way out. Cause yeah they get punished, but with money fines it’s just one and done. They pay the fine and back to normal. why not punish them with hours of community service dependant on how bad their offence was. Cause then we save the planet AND punish the bad guy rather than paying the government. This should especially apply to offences like littering, yk? Somebody tell me why we aren’t doing community service for punishment more often

Is this a scam?
Somebody help me out, because I’m supposed to be receiving my paycheck tomorrow, and I heard from my brother that his sometimes gets paid a day early, so I almost fell for it, but I’m still not quite sure. I did click on the link, but I haven’t entered my bank info. It’s also coming from a +212 number which is Morocco? 😭 I’m at a loss and I don’t even think this is the amount my paycheck is. Not sure though

Honestly just a question out of curiosity because it doesn’t seem to be posing a huge problem right now, but does anyone know why my window creaks like that? And only when I stop the window part way through rolling it down. Never when I roll it up, or roll it down all the way
