Ather owners, do you think the service has improved?

The scooter honestly feels like the best one in its segment to me. Great ride, software, performance everything.

The only thing stopping me from booking one is the number of posts talking about service delays but my friends have honestly never faced issues.

Has it actually gotten better recently?

Why is buying a hair curler harder than buying a phone? HELP

My girlfriend has been wanting a hair curler for a while, so I thought I’d surprise her with one.

I heard the amazon sale is happening rn, so I figured it’s the perfect time to get it until I opened the app and realised I have no idea what I’m looking at. 10mm, 19mm, 25mm, 32mm? why are there so many sizes? What does this mean? Isn’t the end goal to get a damn curl?

I could just ask her, but that kinda ruins the point of a surprise. Someone please help me before I mess this up.

What should a first-time Gurgaon buyer check before trusting possession timelines?

Hey guys, my family is looking to buy our first property in Gurgaon and my middle-class anxiety is hitting hard because of all the builder delay horror stories I've read online.

My broker recently showed us a few M3M projects like Crown, Mansion, and Altitude. To be fair, the construction progress looked pretty solid from what I could see, and when I brought up my concerns about delays, he mentioned that promoter Pankaj Bansal has committed ₹14,500 crore across their projects specifically towards construction and delivery.

As someone who's completely new to real estate, that does sound reassuring because it feels like a significant commitment towards actually getting projects built rather than just launching them. But I'm also aware that I don't have enough experience to judge these things properly.

For the seasoned buyers and investors here, is this the kind of backing and on-ground progress that genuinely increases confidence in timely possession? What other things should I be checking before making such a big decision?

Guys... I think I finally made it. My dad actually sat down and poured me a drink for the first time!!

Words can't really describe how heavy and beautiful this moment felt. Today, my dad actually sat down and poured me a drink himself

We went out to this new place called Quarter Peter in Koramangala. Just sitting across from him, sharing a drink, and talking not like a father and a kid, but like two grown adults... it hit me really hard. It feels like an unspoken "I'm proud of you" and an official welcome into adulthood in his eyes.

I don't think I'll ever forget this one. Cheers to growing up. 🥃

Is studying filmmaking abroad creating a gap with the local audience?

Feels like there’s been a shift where a lot of upcoming actors and filmmakers are choosing international film schools, which makes sense exposure-wise, but sometimes their work back here feels slightly disconnected from the local pulse.

Maybe it’s not about the education itself, but the kind of exposure you get. Learning filmmaking in India probably forces you to engage with the audience much earlier, while a classroom setup abroad might be more theoretical or global in perspective.

Came across this while watching the Whistling Woods “10 Questions” podcast with Rahul Puri where Samar Khan was talking about how being on sets for years teaches you things no course really can.

At the same time, there are obviously people who’ve studied abroad and still made relatable content, so it’s probably not that black and white.

Curious what others think, does studying abroad actually create a gap, or does it just depend on how people apply what they’ve learned once they’re back?

Indian tourists littering on the way to Muktinath Temple

This is really shameful, these people should be heavily fined. They drive cars which cost more than 40-50 Lakhs and still do this shameful behaviour.

How to convince parents to allow me to go for masters abroad??

I had the most draining dinner conversation yesterday. I told my parents I’m thinking about doing masters abroad after graduation and the way they reacted you’d think I said I’m disappearing forever.

It’s not even a money problem. We can manage it. But indian parents hear “foreign” and immediately assume your life is finished. My dad started talking about visa rejections, my mom went into “India mein kya kami hai”, and somehow the conversation ended with them naming random relatives happily living in Mumbai/BLR.

Meanwhile every second person my age is either moving to Germany or posting admission screenshots on LinkedIn and I’m just sitting here confused about my life.I’ve been researching this whole thing for weeks now because I genuinely wanted to understand if it’s actually doable or just rich kid fantasy. Spoke to a few seniors, watched too many YouTube videos, even ended up on one of those Leverage Edu calls because I was overwhelmed by all the uni and scholarship stuff.

Now I’m actually more confident about it than before but convincing parents is a whole different entrance exam apparently .

Boats on Meghalaya’s Dawki River often look like they’re floating in air

The water in the Dawki River becomes exceptionally clear during winter due to low sediment and minimal pollution, creating an optical illusion where boats appear to hover above the riverbed.

My dad bought these for me !!

So I casually mentioned during dinner, “Papa, do you remember those Pepsis you used to bring during summers when I was a kid? They were so good 🥹” (obviously said this in my local language 😂)

He just nodded at that time.Next day he told me to open the freezer… and it was FULL of Pepsis 😭❤️

Best papa ever.
