Cream of mushroom soup

I had planned on throwing some pork chops in the slow cooker this morning with some cream of mushroom soup but I only have one small can. I need three cans but I have $0 till after dinner. How can I stretch out one can enough to completely submerge the pork chops without losing any flavor?

“Did anyone else’s parents tell them…?”

When someone makes a post about “did anyone else’s parents tell them not to take a shower during a storm?” Or “did anyone else’s parents tell them it was illegal to drive with interior lights on?”

They act like our parents were crazy for telling us that but it’s easy to find out that it was with good reason. Old houses have metal pipes that lightning can travel through creating a possibly deadly situation.
Anyone who has ever driven at night should be able to tell how much harder it is to properly see when the interior light is on

I’m a young Gen X and a lot of people who share those posts are around my age. They are old enough to know the reason behind this

What could this be on my grandson’s foot? Infected bug bite?

Pic was from yesterday. His mom said the bump is hard yet seems purulent and today it seems to have gotten worse. She does work for a dermatologist and is gonna ask him about it tomorrow and take him to the doctor if need be but in the meantime any ideas? And what can she put on it to try to keep it from getting worse?

“ ‘No’ is a complete sentence”

I find it so annoying. Why is that everyone’s go to instead of just “no”? As soon as I hear/see that sentence I check out and move on.

ETA I’m not saying it’s bad advice and simply saying “no” is perfectly fine in many scenarios. My annoyance comes from that specific sentence being everyone’s go to advice

No pets

I very rarely go to Buc-ee’s so I haven’t been in a while but my kid had a job interview next door so I stopped in to use the bathroom. I love this addition to their doors. I love that businesses are slowly taking their buildings back from the entitled dog owners

In ‘n’ Out

Random question out of curiosity for anyone who works evenings at the In ‘n’ Out on University. I drive past it every night about 10pm and the drive thru line is almost always wrapped around Chili’s. I’m just curious what the drive thru times are. Since it’s a small menu are you able to get them out quickly or are there long wait times?

Any takers?

located between Ponder and Justin

My stray had kittens and they are ready to find a new home. They were born 3/28. Please! They are driving me crazy! I can not keep up with feeding all of them, and mom is so done with them but they won’t leave her alone.

the only thing is because they are outside stray cats right now they are feral. They would need someone with the time and patience to win their trust. They are becoming more and more comfortable with us being around them so it shouldn’t take too long. My daughter has already taken one and it took her no time to become a lovable house pet. But because of this I would have to catch them so I would need you to be able to come asap when rhat happens

Family foundation

The Whataburger family foundation used to give grants for groceries and dental work with an estimate. I was just looking on the app and I don’t see those options. Looks like it’s only an emergency grant now. Do they not cover those things anymore or am I just not looking in the right spot?

Help me find my dads old jacket

My dad worked at the Ford assembly plant in Wayne MI. back in the 80s he had a UAW jacket similar to the picture but it was green. I loved that jacket and wore it all the time when I was young. I don't know what ended up happening to it. I think by the time I got to high school it had disappeared. I’ve scoured eBay and Google images several times over the years but can‘t find anything in the right green and certainly not from Wayne, MI. I think his UAW number was local 900 but not positive

Local sonography programs

I don’t know if anyone here can help me out. My daughter wants to be a sonographer but we’re having a hard time finding a local school. We saw the course at the NCTC campus in Gainesville before but now I don’t see it on the website. So who here does sonography and where did you go to school? She still has two more years till she’s done with high school but we want to be ready when the time comes

So a few years ago the Pandora had an ad about keeping dangerous household items away from children. It had a little kid singing all the different things that could hurt a child. Two items mentioned was “button batteries, grandma’s pills”. Me and my kid talk about that ad often. I have scoured the internet trying to find it to no avail. Does anyone know what I’m talking about and can post a link to the ad?
