I’m trying to think up a concept for a tattoo off of the “subway rat” poem.

“Subway rat made eye contact with me and said ‘join us. When the train comes we slide under the tracks and feel it rumble over us like a warm thunderstorm. We live forever and we love to live.’ I said no thank you. I am too large. He turned away from me and I cried.”

It’s a rather somber poem and I’d ask that that would be reflected in any potential ideas.

Provided is a quick concept I had (feel free to ignore it if you so wish). I’d like more than one rat. But of note they are all scurrying towards the train.

Rat got a little too silly and fell in the trash.

Rat in question? Emile.

Mushrooms found after a rain/thunderstorm.

Not a lot of flair to these lil guys. But the one with the huge patch is in my front yard. A large tree was cut down by the previous owners and every time it rains these little guys come around to say hi.

Music ID for Mage The Ascension

The intro music for the Mage the Ascension series is phenomenal but I can’t find the specific song to listen to for myself. If there is a more appropriate subreddit then I’ll take my questions there.

I wish to read a book where becoming a monster isn’t a bad thing.

I’m real tired of the main protagonist gaining some inhuman element and spending forever worrying over it before overcoming it in one way or another and returning to the status quo.

Where is the love for accepting inhumanity????

Also, I’d prefer if romance was, if not completely absent, at least put on the back burner.

In addition, I am more referring to a human becoming literally more monstrous. Ex: accepting the demon deal and corruption, allowing their human body to be altered for power.

Does the mormon god own my soul?

Some context. Mormon’s get baptized when they are only eight years old. A part of getting baptized is being asked if you want to do it by your bishop. I remember distinctly my answer. “I know nothing else so I agree with this and wish to be baptized”. I only wanted to fulfill the obligation since I wanted to be a full member of the church. I also truly didn’t know anything of the world. I regret that decision.

But a large part of mormonism is that turning away from the mormon god’s name means he takes away all his blessings. Since leaving some bad things have happened to me. I work with tarot and it always says that my enemy is a cruel and masculine tyrant. I can’t help but think that is the mormon god. Am I being punished because I bound myself to him and then turned away?

If so what can I do to free myself. Eight years old is not old enough to have truly consented.

Does the mormon god own my soul?

Relatively new here. Read over the FAQ and rules and I think I’m good. If not my apologies.

In short mormons get baptized when they are eight. If a mormon leaves the church are they bound to the mormon god? Supposedly the child consents. But I think that is BS.

Assuming a deal was struck and I am bound. Is there a way to free myself?

Years later I have left the church. I curse the mormon god’s name every time I catch myself singing hymns. Whenever my parents beg me to come back I respectfully say no. They can practice their religion but I wish for no part of it.

But a large part of mormonism is that turning away from the mormon god’s name means he takes away all his blessings. Since leaving I have had multiple health issues. My mental functions have declined. I work with tarot (if you don’t like that stuff please still be kind) and it always says that my enemy is a cruel and masculine tyrant. I can’t help but think that is the mormon god. Am I being punished because I bound myself to him and then turned away?

What are these lumps on the lil guy?

My step brother got this crested gecko, Steven, and then left for a religious sabbatical. He has left the little guy in my families care. My parents aren’t the most enthusiastic in terms of properly researching and caring for more exotic pets.

He has a bit of a lump underneath him at the base of his tail (See second image). Then, on that lump there are like two white things sticking out. I know some lizards have femoral pores? Is it the same thing?
