I'm working on Pulverizer 2 + Super Aerial Pulverizer rn.

This is the Arena version with the Vulture2 so not as much speed but more EN to work with so, it's an alright tradeoff.
Might be a tad easier too outside of having to find a way to deal with the Hover Pulverizer

But right now the main focus is on Rim Fire who's manifested another mental block in my mind but... one thing at a time

As we all know, getting a win as a killer is fucking pain with how overtuned survivors are, and with how garbage all the killers are unless you either get a lobby of idiots, people who DON'T directly counter you, or you're actually good

Point and case, getting stunned by survivors as long as there's a Sonic AND Knuckles combo

Stun stacking is the most survivor sided gimmick ever and it completely breaks killers as a collective

Outside of 2011 who benefits from it with Rage, Kolossus, Tripwire and Fleetway all get fucking shredded if someone like Tails or Metal opens with a long ass stun, then Sonic and Knuckles just pound your face in

You now can no longer move for 12 seconds, and in Fleetways case, you're missing a shitload of HP, and considering drain is fucking impossible to aim and land outside of a hallway, you're not getting that back

It genuinely makes going against team comps like Sonic Heroes (Sonic Tails and Knuckles) genuinely abysmal because unless you kill one of them quickly... you're not going anywhere and you're going to be fucking destroyed

And if they have an Amy, or god forbid a Cream, all your hard work evaporates and it's like you where never there in the first place

It's a genuinely miserable mechanic because you can just STARE at everyone as they vanish into the unknown or heal in front of your face and you can't do shit but watch and cry

What, the game wasn't easy enough as it is, you can't just neuter the killers, you have to cripple them too?

My main issue is the execution

Parrying isn't instant so unless you weren't swinging your sword like a maniac as people tend to do, odds are you won't have a parry ready when someone's about to use a gun. But the other issue comes with the act of parrying itself

You have to look DIRECTLY AT THE ENTITY THAT'S ATTACKING YOU.

Why is this an issue?

Oh you know, it's only a high speed game where people are moving at mach 1 and you have to STARE THEM IN THE EYES TO PARRY THEM.

I've lost multiple games to pressing F to parry, but because my cursor wasn't directly on them, I didn't parry the bullets. Or sometimes I do parry them and I'm barely looking in their direction at all. It makes no fucking sense

Then there's AFTER you parry an attack

Because you're reeling from deflecting something, well shit, now you've just lost 40 HP because they hit you twice in the time it took to recover from the attack

Plus parrying attacks gives you more instability than just clashing, (The Monarch) so Parrying just becomes an even worse clash because attacking someone who's parrying doesn't build up as much Instability for you as it does them

So at this point, I'd rather clash the bullet than parry it when Clashing is somehow THE SAFER OPTION

Like the grapple hook, parrying bullets and the occasional swing is too inconsistent to actually be of use when sometimes it blocks when I'm facing the guys general direction, and other times I could be looking slightly past his skull and I don't even register he was using a gun to begin with

And then he kills me because the recovery animation is so long that I'm now a sitting duck
