As previously announced I’ve released two upgraded versions of my Filament Track Switch & TPU Feed Assist Mounts! My main goal was simple: reduce filament resistance to a minimum while keeping the setup compact.

New with Version 3

• An evolution of V2, now with a very space-saving design.
• Warp-resistant: Reduced surface area against the heated back panel - now safe to print in PETG
• Lower TPU module position for a straighter filament path and better compatibility with custom Riser systems.

New with Version 4

• New approach, new model: The Track Switch is rotated by 90 degrees, lying flat and aligned inline with the filament inlets.
• This gives you the straightest possible filament path.
• Trade-off: Requires a bit more clearance behind the printer.

Shared Features:

• All-in-One solution: Holds both Track Switch and TPU Feed Assist.
• Low Friction: Adjustable distance to the inlets.
• Flexible Setup: Two TPU placement options (Straight or 90°).
• 4-in-1 Ready: Integrated holders for classic and newer H2C adapters (or short version without 4-in-1 holders).
• Full Access: External spool remains usable.

Which one to choose?

• If you have the space behind your printer, go for V4 (best feeding physics).
• If space is tight, choose V3.
• If already using V2 and happy? No need to reprint!

I have designed very slim and easy-to-install adapter mounts for the H2 printer series. With these mounts, you can attach the adapters to the housing instead of letting them hang freely. This also prevents the piece of tubing between the adapter and the printer from kinking.

I’ve received quite a few requests to develop a combo mount for the Filament Track Switch and the TPU Feed Assist that’s compatible with the d3P Riser from Darren 3D Print.

The mount is slightly longer then the standard version to avoid interfering with the riser. I’ve added a separate print profile to my model for this.

• The distance to the filament inlets is adjustable. The greater the distance, the lower the resistance.

Filament Track Switch & TPU Feed Assist - Mounts

Currently there are three versions available:

1. Combo mount for both modules (Version 2; recommended)
2. Single mount for Filament Track Switch module (Version 2)
3. Single mount für TPU Feed Assist module

Key features:

• The distance to the filament inlets is adjustable. The greater the distance, the lower the resistance.
• Integrated 4-in-1 adapter mounts (optionally). Their distance can also be adjusted.
• The external spool holder remains accessible (unlike the original mount).

Material:

As the printer housing heats up when the chamber heater is activated, a heat-resistant filament such as ABS or ASA should be used for the main bracket. The other parts can be printed without any problems using PLA or PETG.

• AMS Flipper-compatible mount
• Mount for right-hand AMS units
• Improved individual mounts for the TPU feed assist module

BambuLab has confirmed in their forum, that the hardware of the currently available X2D Filament Track Switch is fully compatible with the H2C/H2D. That’s great news, because I’ve already bought one and designed various mounts for attaching it to the H2 printers.

Currently following versions are available:

1. Combo-Mount (Recommended for H2C / H2D)   The all-in-one solution. Holds both the TPU Feeder Assist and the Filament Track Switch. Print once and you're done.
2. TPU Feeder Assist Only (Recommended for H2S)    For those who only want to mount the TPU Feeder Assist module while maintaining full access to the external spool holder.
3. Filament Track Switch Only   For those who only want to mount the Track Switch module. Two versions:   With or without 4-in-1 PTFE tube adapter guide

In all versions, the external filament holder remains accessible
(unlike the original BambuLab holder).

I know, every printer setup is different, and the current versions don't cover all requirements.

• Do you need a different arrangement of the modules, or should they be oriented at different angles?
• Do you need special routing for the cables and PTFE tubing?
• Do you have any general suggestions for improvement?
