Film photo effect for iphone

Hi, on a recent trip with friends I realised most of my friends dont own a camera, even less so an analog camera. But they always love that I take pics. And I really dont mind because its my passion and I love to share all the memories with them!

Although recently I thought of an idea to get them more involved. So I started building a “analog camera app”. Its not just another app that applies filters. It allows you to create a “film roll” and each person can take pictures on the film roll. There are limits of how many they can take a day.

So the reason for this post is to get ideas of how I can edit the photos to not let it look like just another iPhone photo with a filter. The goal is to give them something unique and interesting! Maybe I am just trying to get them interested in analog photography too hahaha! 😜

Any advice of how I can make an phone photo more unique and film like? The current idea is to create a preset on lightroom then convert it to code, and apply it to photos they take

Wedding QR app

I just added a new feature to my QR wedding video app that lets couples give guests little video challenges/prompts throughout the wedding

Couples can fully customize the prompts, and even choose when guests see them during the day!

For example:
During cocktails: “How do you know the couple?”
Late at night: “Show the person with the best dance moves.”

If you have any feedback, I’d genuinely love to hear it! I’m actively building new features every week.

I’m also giving away a couple of 50% discounts for upcoming weddings if anyone wants to try it out 🤍

Its called WeddingReelsApp

Wedding guestbook app

Hi all!

I was wondering if any if you order services or recommendations outside of dj-ing, as part of like a package?

I built a wedding app and was exploring the idea to start marketing it to DJs so that they can sign up as an affiliate, but not sure if its a thing for djs to recommend other apps/services to the couple?

Would love to get more insight

I was at my friend's wedding a couple of months ago. While we were having drinks when they were taking pictures, someone with a gopro on a selfie stick came to me and asked to record a message. While this is cute, my introverted self couldn't think of something to say on the spot. I felt a bit regret afterwards because I acutally wanted to say something nice.

So I thought "how can I fix this", "what would be an easy way for the guests to collect special videos like this"

I then had the idea of creating a "tiktok"-style feed for the couple. Where guests can scan a QR code on their table, record a message (or funny/special moments) and upload it to the couples feed.

The couple can then scroll through the videos, or let the app stitch it all together and download it as one video.

I am making the app free for a while, while I am still adding features. If anyone has feedback or suggestions, I would happily hear them!
