As you can see from the photos, my hairline seems to be developing an M-shape, which has made me nervous. Over the last 1–2 years, I've noticed gradual recession around my temples. My father and grandfather both have a history of male pattern baldness, so I'm concerned this could be the early stages of it.

I naturally have curly hair, but I'm currently keeping a buzz cut because it's difficult to manage during Delhi's summers. I have two questions:

a) Based on the photos, does this look like a mature hairline or early male pattern baldness?

b) I personally don't like my curly hair. Are there any safe and practical ways to make my hair straighter, either temporarily or permanently, without causing significant damage?

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
