Do you think jailbreaking the Switch 2 will ultimately require a hardware hack or physical modchip rather than a pure software exploit?
Curious since the original Switch relied heavily on early software and RCM exploits before later models required hardware modchips
Sony's recent decision to drop Hideo Kojima and walk away from Physint handing a massive win straight to Xbox alongside their aggressive all digital push, feels like a major strategic misstep.
By pulling back on prestige creative partnerships, phasing out physical media, and day and date porting games to PC, Sony is chipping away at the core identity that kept loyalists on PlayStation.
And with hardware costs likely not going lower, I do not know how Sony can keep up with exclusives like last generation. Between that and everything else, I really do not know where they are heading
Edit: It is not just Kojima games, but single player games in general. I honestly do not know how they are handling creativity in their games anymore or how they invest in them. Are they more likely focused on live service only now, as we saw with Concord or Horizon?

Do you think there's any chance they would ever make a proper remake of the early games? And if they ever decide to develop a brand new entry, should they steer away from the over-the-top comedy of the later sequels and go back to a more serious, gritty crime drama style

I'm totally new to Linux, so I wanted to ask which distribution would be best for a beginner. I was thinking of either Linux Mint or CachyOS. I've been using Windows 10 with an AMD setup (Radeon HD 6900 Series GPU and Phenom II X6 1090T CPU), and I've heard that AMD hardware generally works well with Linux.
For me, an LTS version is important, along with a nice, modern UI that is easy to use and feels somewhat similar to Windows in terms of simplicity.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I want to buy a disc-version. My PS5 is on firmware 12.40. If I go out and buy the official physical game disc, will I be able to install and play it normally without these performance issues?

I installed the game on the internal SSD (compresssed in exFAT), but I'm experiencing heavy stuttering and occasional freezes.
I was really looking forward to playing it after finishing all the previous FF7 titles.
I also noticed there are releases by SiESPta and Speed007.
Has anyone compared them? Is one more stable than the other?
If you've played it successfully, could you share which release/version you used, whether it was installed internally or on an external SSD, and if you experienced any stuttering or freezes?

I currently have a jailbroken PS5 on firmware 12.40, and I’m wondering if it’s worth trying to find a jailbreakable PS5 Pro as well.
I’m mainly thinking about future games like GTA 6 and whether the extra performance of the Pro would make a noticeable difference.
You think the performance and graphical improvements are significant enough to justify the effort and extra cost of finding a jailbreakable PS5 Pro? Or would you just stick with the regular PS5 since Its already jailbroken?

I’m currently running into a frustrating issue with the PS5 version of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion.
Every time I finish the tutorial section, the game gets stuck on the loading screen and just won’t proceed. The loading animation is freezing, and it never actually loads the next part of the game.
Has anyone else encountered this bug? If so, have you found a way to fix it or any workarounds? I’ve already tried restarting the game/console, but it didn't help.
Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm on a jailbroken PS5 FW 12.40 and trying to decide whether to use EchoStretch or Drakmor's version of kstuff-lite. Since Drakmor integrates ShadowMount, does his custom build actually reduce kernel panics (KPs) when mounting and loading games, or is EchoStretch's main release more stable for avoiding KPs on a standard setup?
