While being an autist, and reading about the Fairburn-Sykes knife, I happened to look up Wilkinson Sword, the company that manufactured them. Known today for their startling brand of very reasonably priced(!) razors.

Bit of a Ronseal title really. I can’t count how many times I’ve spent entire missions listening to someone cough, sneeze, talk to someone else in the room, eat crisps etc etc etc. I know you can mute them, but it still means they’ll go to the next game and annoy others. It usually seems to be a console thing.

The only good method I’ve found so far to discourage this is to put things in the chat like “oh fuck yeah, sneeze again, I thought I couldn’t get any harder but I was wrong” or “man it turns me on so much when you hock up your snot like that”. Seems usually if you ask them nicely they just ignore you.

I’d just turn V/C off altogether but it’s handy to have on occasion where someone actually uses it to co-ordinate. So I figured instead maybe this post could persuade a few fellaz to alter their settings.

I don’t have much else to add really. I just thought it would be nice for us all to show a lil appreciation for all the effort muppetmovie puts into this page. Every time I see a request for some obscure strip from a 30 year old comic, within a few hours it’s up in a lovely easy to read format.

Started reading the series again, and at this point the mere mention of Hakeswills name gets my back up. He’s such a great shit. Always completely self serving, always doing horrific things to other people for his own gain, then completely getting away with it by sucking up to some officer who he has onside because he mailed their hated wife some anthrax then killed another English soldier in battle to pimp their wife out to him. Even in the TV series Pete Poselthwaite does a great job of being a shit.

Just wondered if everyone else shared my view.

Sup fellaz, I’m looking to upgrade my RX7600XT as it struggles a little with newer games, and I’m considering making the shift to 4K. I don’t really know a whole lot about what’s good on the (nice and inflated) market currently. I’m looking in the £400-£600 price range.

My current specs are

• Ryzen 7 7700x cpu
• 32GB ddr5
• 2tb SSD
• coolermaster 850w psu
• rx7600 xt gpu
• MSI b650 motherboard

I’ve got my eye on a rx7090 that’s about £500. Is this a good purchase do you think, or should I be looking elsewhere? Also, will I need to upgrade my PSU, as the 7090 appears to draw about twice the power of the 7600xt.

I was hoping they do to get the slayer atk speed buff. Found an older post that said they don’t count, and thought ah well then. But also accidentally found a more recent post that said it had been changed now, but not what it had been changed to.

Are they 1H, 2H, or nothing at all? Pls do inform me. Thanks in advance.

I don’t necessarily mean best, but just your silliest go-to character when you want to fuck up some rats.

For me slayer with 2 1h weapons (dual axes and 1h axe) for the atk speed buff.

You’ll take a million damage as you throw yourself into hordes and patrols, but it doesn’t matter because you have 1% perm HP and 99% temp HP.

Just curious what everyone else goes for.

Don’t really have much point to this, just think it’s really satisfying to hear your cog hammer bonk rats on the head. I assume the WP/zealot hammer sounds are the same, but I’ve never actually tried them.

Been maining outcast engineer recently. On a standard champ Chaos Wastes run I often end up with 500-700 ranged kills, most of which come from mowing down skaven hordes with the minigun.

I’m kinda curious whether other teammates see me using it and sigh internally, knowing that I’m gonna steal a lot of their kills. I just love going brr and watching 30 rats die in 3 seconds.

Pretty much what the title says really. Also pls try not to rage quit when you get assassined and no one’s around to help you because you’re 4 miles ahead.

I love it when you find a good team minded team. Team team team team team, I just like saying it. You probably think this is a picture of my family. No! It’s the A-Team.

This isn’t based on personal experience or anything…

I’m just curious whether it’s my (admittedly shitty) internet connection, game bugs or I just get unlucky with hosts departing. I reckon in probably 3 out of every 5 CW matches, I lose connection to the host, or the game attempts to migrate hosts (it’s worked once ever for me). Once it happened halfway through me collecting the scroll at the end of the run and none of the scores counted.

I wouldn’t mind half as much if the game kept track of the scores etc, similar to how it tots up whatever points/coins etc you had when you lost. As it stands a good 50% of my CW runs end with me getting nothing because I disconnected one way or another.

If it’s because my internet is poor (15 mbp/s is a good day for me) then fair enough, it’s on me. Just wondered if anyone else has the same experience.

Was just playing a chaos wastes match, on Pit of Reflections.

Was at the tail of my team. We round a corner, there’s no floor up ahead. My team goes on and walks along the invisible floor.

“Aha” said I, “this must be some Tzeench trickery, one of those ‘invisible floor’ things you see in games”.

I walk forward on the patch my teammates ran over.

I fall to my death.

The map hasn’t loaded in properly.

I am currently questioning how I’ve made it this far in life.

Vermintide 2.

Been playing Bounty Hunter for a while now and fancied being a bit more frontline-y. Is there anything I should be looking to do other than crowd control and bonque? Having no ranged makes a fun difference, but somehow the F special feels quite underwhelming compared to the BH shot.

Started my first Dechala campaign yesterday (SFO, but I don’t think it makes too much difference to the campaign map), and I’m just not entirely sure how I should be going about it. I figure you want as many thrall camps as possible to build up thralls, but I don’t know if that’s correct or not.

Can someone give me a basic rundown of her currencies and why/what they do? Currently have her full starting province and am planning to work my way north to secure the eastern edge of the map. I’ve seen plenty of times she’s a beast in combat, but haven’t levelled her up much yet. Should I be getting more marauder armies to make use of the upkeep reduction?

Just want some tips ‘n’ tricks really. Let me have it.
