What is the best online prep source that you can personally attest for?

Hey, i'm really prepping myself for the august sat to be one of my last sat before ED and I really need to commit to finding a source that I can consistently practice/learn on. Im currently debating whether I should buy the One prep package for august which comes with a few practice tests and learning sessions I think and question breakdowns. Are there any other resources that have gotten you the score that you wanted if so, please help a brother out.

Which platform to pick

Hey guys I’m about to buy my first lucid 25k flex eval and I’ve seen a lot of people use ritmic/tradsea as their platform of choice instead of using tradovate/tradingview. Is there a specific reason for this as I am used to just connecting tradovate to my trading view. My question is how was your experience with tradesea/rithmic and is it a navigable website like TradingView or is it a completely different layout. And also which one would you rccomend?

Taco bell ruined me

So apparently no one ever mentioned to me that zero sugar sodas have caffeine content. I sat down in taco bell to do sme work thsi morning and taking advantage of their free refill system I must've downed at least 12 large cups of various zero sugar soda like pepsi and baja blast. I'm currently drinking baja blast zero right now. I google it and wdym a cup can contain up to 100 mg! My heart must be on fire rn, anyways have any of you experienced this and should I minimize my coke zero intake>

Roaches should be paying my rent

I'm a 16-year-old male, and for the past two years or so, we've dealt with a roach infestation. At first, I think it started with a bug or two at my old house, but it suddenly increased exponentially. I think the specific species were not the same ones we have now since they weren't that crazy. But we made sure to clean everything up when we moved, and gosh, for the first weeks of living in a new apartment, not having to worry about some getting squashed or crawling up your leg every time you went to pee in the night felt heavenly.

But as they say, all good things come to an end. We first spotted one (a German cockroach), and it went downhill from there. I remember a time when my mother couldn't sleep in a house where a singular cockroach had been spotted, but over the years of this torment, I think she's sort of gotten accustomed to it.

Then it started getting worse, requiring me to plug the bottom of my door with a towel to stop them from spreading into my room. Then they started to find ways to get in from the sides, to the point where I had to spray around the edges with Raid cockroach spray as a protective layer to keep them from coming inside.

Tonight, though, all hell broke loose. I was getting ready to sleep when I thought to go to the kitchen to make some overnight oats for tomorrow. As I was getting ready to get up, I kid you not, I saw TWO of them on MY BED!!!!!!! The most sacred thing a human can come to, the place where I'm most vulnerable, and these abominations were leisurely chilling there. Oh, I couldn't even imagine the amount of times they've crawled over me when I was asleep.

I was legit heartbroken but still decided to go to the kitchen to make some oats. When I stepped in, and I kid you not, without exaggeration, I must've seen THOUSANDS of them, ranging from minuscule babies to grown adults, just leisurely going about the kitchen. Expecting this, I came in guns blazing with the Raid roach spray and must've wiped out a good few hundred. I kid you not, while I was spraying, I was literally hopping on my toes as a preventative measure in case they tried a last-ditch attempt at saving their sorry selves by crawling on me.

What I mean to say is that I'm concerned, not only for myself but for my siblings and my mother. They take fewer preventative measures than me, and imagine where that gets them when I found bugs on my bed after doing all of that. We have an infant in a crib, and I shiver thinking about them getting into his crib and up his nose, as well as a toddler and my other sibling who also have a pretty bad infestation in their room.

Raid bug spray is very temporary. We've also laid out bug traps, as well as Gentrol and bait/poison. I kid you not, I would shave a few years off of my life to stop this infestation. I feel trapped with no way out. No autonomy even within my own household.

Honestly, what other solutions would you guys recommend? Not even leaving a speck of food out in the household is impossible. It's always dirty, as that's what happens with 7 kids, all younger than me. Also, stuff that could potentially harm the baby or kids is off the table. Plus, I've been inhaling so much Raid bug spray these days, and it's really been making my nose itch and making me cough. Are there any long-term medical issues that can happen from that? Honestly, at this point, any help would be appreciated, as I'm willing to spend whatever money I make from my paycheck to resolve this issue.

Would you take this?

In this trade, right around the entry point, you can see the retest I was looking for to confirm the position (the risk-to-reward graph placement is a little inaccurate). I was waiting for a retest to trigger my buy order, but if you zoom in, the retest didn't quite touch my entry point, so the trade moved on without me. My question is: when you guys are looking for a retest, do you wait for a spot-on retest exactly on the line, or if it comes close enough—as shown in the chart—do you trigger an entry order?

Is it possible to be profitable one month?

Day trading is like any other strategy in the world and some people are more atoned in having natural traits or learned characteristics than others. Assuming a person is not worried about finding a decent winrate strategy but has innate emotional and psychological control, would they theoretically be able to "rush" this process in just a month. I know its to early to tell if theyre profitable at that time but lets assume profitability is considered getting a few payouts from a prop firm and they would only see this progress after this month is over. I Wanna here your thoughts.

Why was the Ap physics 1 Exam so easy?

Why did the late Ap physics one exam bless us this year. I came in thinking I was done for after seeing the questions the earlier testers was getting but nope Frqs were light work and Mcq's were easy. I had version M so if anyone wants to discuss LMK.

My dad is lost

Ever since my 11-year-old brother was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, everything seemed to go downhill. Our family does not have any previous experience taking care of someone medically in the long run, so it has been and still is extremely draining with all the procedures we have to follow.

The worst part is not even the diabetes itself. It is my father’s reaction to the whole situation. I come from an immigrant family, so of course there are some superstitions, but the level my father took this to is insane. He started finding “natural remedies” from local self-proclaimed experts from our home country on Facebook and became absolutely convinced that my brother was “healable” and that his diabetes was caused by the evil eye.

He started feeding him fenugreek and random potions with a nasty, strong smell every day as a way of “healing” him. He also developed a very unhealthy obsession with my brother’s diabetes. I checked his screen time, and he spent around seven hours in one day just on the Dexcom G7 app. It was not even running in the background, he was actively viewing the screen the entire time, which is insane.

The worst part is that this coincides with my brother being in his honeymoon phase because of his recently administered new insulin. On days when his blood sugar is more level, my father gets excited and starts thinking he cured him or something. Even worse, he started cutting down my brother’s carbs to a daily minimum, giving him around 20 grams a day because he thinks that will cure him.

He has also become very invasive in my brother’s life. He gave him a phone and calls him 24/7, even at school and at night. He keeps strict control over his carbs, making my little brother’s life unbearable. You can actively see the eye bags under his eyes because he is exhausted and has low energy from the lack of carbs. A recent lab report also indicated that he has high LDL levels because of all the meat they have been feeding him.

I am not saying that my father’s concern for his son is invalid, but the extent of what he is doing is uneducated and uninformed, and it can have serious consequences for my younger brother. I even tried to sit down with him and talk to him. I brought scientific evidence and explained all the phenomena he had been seeing, but he is adamant. I am telling you, he believes whatever he thinks is the word of God. He even sat down with a medical professional, and still, to no avail, he does not listen. Worst part about it is that my mom also thinks his words are from god so there is no use convincing her there.

Overall, I am scared for my brother. I am worried that he may not grow and develop to his full potential because of the severe carb cutting, including possible effects on his mental development and physical growth. How can I do something to fix this when, from how I see it, my hands are tied?
