A traffic accident occurred in Geoje in which a pedestrian crossing a crosswalk on a bicycle was struck and killed by a passenger car that ran a red light. Around 6:40 a.m. on the 20th, a Sonata passenger car traveling towards Okpo-dong struck two bicycles at a crosswalk in front of the West Gate in Ajudo-dong, Geoje-si.

As a result of the accident, a 50-year-old employee of a shipbuilding subcontractor, who was on his way to work, suffered severe head injuries and was urgently transported to nearby Daewoo Hospital; however, he tragically passed away without being resuscitated.

Another Nepalese worker in his 30s riding a bicycle also sustained bruises, but his injuries are reported to be minor.

The female driver of the Sonata, in her 30s, told police that she "did not see the signal properly," and it was reported that she was not driving under the influence of alcohol or without a license.

The police have booked the driver on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Handling of Traffic Accidents (resulting in death) and are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on the analysis of the vehicle's Event Data Recorder (EDR) and witness statements.

The accident occurred on October 4, 2014, at approximately 10:05 a.m. on the 7th kilometer of the Novokuznetsk-Osiniki highway near the village of Baevka in the Novokuznetsk district of the Kemerovo region. The driver of a Kia Sportage, while overtaking, collided with a UAZ Hunter and a Toyota Carina. As a result of the accident, the UAZ overturned and flew into a ditch, and the Carina crashed into a tree. The driver and passengers of the UAZ received serious injuries, and the drivers of the Kia and Toyota received minor injuries.

On May 19, 2015 (Date is set wrong), a three-car accident occurred on Severnaya Street in Oktyabrsky, Republic of Bashkortostan.

The accident occurred on February 6, 2023, at approximately 5:05 AM, at kilometer 226 of the A-331 "Vilyuy" highway near Bratsk. The 26-year-old driver of a Subaru Forester, a Bratsk resident, was traveling toward the Central District of Bratsk from the village of Energetik when he struck a pedestrian on the road. As a result of the accident, the Subaru left the road and overturned, killing the pedestrian.
