Bagito programmers offering Masterclass

Why am I suddenly seeing so many bagito programmers offering paid programming courses? 😅 Dahil ba sa AI?

Learned Python/Java/ReactJS 3 months ago, now may "Masterclass" na. haha

Would you actually enroll in their course, or would you rather learn from Udemy, YouTube, Coursera, official docs, or experienced developers with a proven track record?

Nothing wrong with teaching early. but when did "I just learned this" become I "can now sell a course about it"?

I Wanted Learning Baybayin to Feel More Engaging — So I Built This

I recently published a modern Baybayin learning app and wanted to share it here with fellow Baybayin enthusiasts.

One thing I noticed while learning Baybayin before was that many apps felt static or difficult to stay engaged with, so I tried building something more interactive and gamified while still respecting the script and culture.

Features currently included:
✍️ Interactive tracing with guided stroke paths
🗺️ Journey Map progression system inspired by language-learning apps
🎴 Collectible Filipino hero cards
🔥 Daily streaks & XP system
🔤 Character lessons and practice
📚 Beginner-friendly learning flow

The goal was to make learning Baybayin feel less intimidating and more enjoyable for newer learners.

Still actively improving the app and adding more lessons/features over time, so feedback from the community would honestly mean a lot 🙏

Trying to contribute something small to Baybayin preservation through tech

So I recently built and published a Baybayin learning app focused on tracing, quizzes, flashcards, and guided practice. I also added collectible hero cards to make learning feel more engaging and rewarding. Curious what the Baybayin community thinks about this approach.

You can download the app here

I’ve been building a clinic management SaaS for the past 4 months

Target users: small to mid-sized clinics (optical, dental, aesthetic).

The idea came from helping my fiancé set up her own clinic. We couldn’t find a system that covers the full workflow without being too expensive or overly complex.

Current solution I’m building tries to combine:

  • POS (sales + services)
  • patient records (basic EMR)
  • appointment scheduling
  • inventory tracking
  • SMS reminders
  • AI Insights

Basically an "all-in-one" system instead of using separate tools (calendar + Excel + paper + messaging apps).

Current state:

  • already usable (basic workflows working)
  • no paying users yet

My concerns:

  • This space seems crowded (a lot of existing clinic systems)
  • "All-in-one" might be too generic and not a strong wedge
  • Clinics might resist switching from their current setup

What I want to get roasted on:

  • Is this just another generic SaaS with no real edge?
  • Should I niche down harder (e.g., optical only)?
  • What would make this actually compelling to switch to?

I’d rather hear why this fails now than after another 6 months.

Anyone here running a clinic? Curious how you handle operations

Been building something to simplify clinics operations for the past 4 months.

The reason is simple, my fiancé is preparing to launch her own clinic last year.

While helping her figure things out, we realized something… there’s no single system that can handle everything she needs.

It’s still early and I haven’t really shared it much publicly yet, but I’d love to get feedback from people actually running clinics.

No cost, just feedback.

If you’re interested, feel free to message me.

Hey everyone

I recently built a mobile app to help people learn Baybayin (ancient Filipino script), and I’m currently stuck at Google Play’s requirement of needing 12 testers for 14 days before I can release it publicly.

I’d really appreciate your help

What I need:

Just install the app Open/use it from time to time over the next 14 days

Optional: send feedback (would be super helpful!)

  1. Join the Group: https://groups.google.com/g/baybayinapp
  2. Click on "Join Group" button after opening the above link
  3. Download Modern Baybayin - Apps on Google Play
