Feeling bad for Carrie in Gen Q

Bette is a totally bitch to Carrie.. and Carrie really cares and wants to be better. But I agree with her, Bette just makes her feel less than. She’s mean to her. I wish I could give Carrie a hug😭

Mark and friends?

I watched all of the in person videos they did like eight years ago, but just recently got into the midnight market series that Bob has been posting. Now I’m watching supermarket together. Are there any really good series of the main three guys playing games together that I should watch? I haven’t really watched a lot of the gaming videos and would like to watch more.

Edit: also anything with Ethan or Tyler is fine lol I just don’t know if Tyler really plays games

Calling Shane UNCLE SHANE

I don’t know why it made me giggle and makes so much more sense to be uncle Shane than aunt Shane. Love this small detail! And a small cameo from Helena <3

Finished the show… need to talk

So happy Jenny died honestly. She was insufferable and I wish she’d have been put in her place more often. Either she killed herself or she was killed. But what do we really think? The way everyone was smiling at the end seemed so malicious. I loved it.

Treatment of Max

First time watcher here! I am on season four, episode three. I just am mainly concerned about why a lot of these characters feel as if max should not go through with his transition? Trying to save lesbians like they’re losing a disciple? I’ve researched a little bit, and I know that generation Q supposedly tackles this issue better than the L word did, but I’m just curious if anybody has any more insight on this situation? Was being transgender even controversial in the lesbian community in the 2000s?

EDIT why so many downvotes? At least comment how you feel.

Finally losing weight

I am a female and in my early 20s. I’ve always been overweight, and I’ve just lived my life as is. I started smoking weed 6+ years ago and have consistently smoked since then every single day, pretty much. In the last year, I have completely lost my appetite. I have lost 25 pounds simply from not eating during the day. Just got under 200 for the first time since high school.
It could be 10 PM and realized I’ve only had a few bites of a granola bar or a single Dr Pepper. I know this isn’t sustaining, but after living my whole life as a big person, I’m actually really happy about this.
I question if I have an eating disorder, because I am gaining confidence from basically starving myself, and I’m reaping the rewards of having a smaller number on the scale, but I know I’m doing my body bad by not feeding it at all.
I stopped smoking, which was fine. But I started again, and started to get munchies. This put me into a bad state of mind, as I worried about eating too much during the day or the number on the scale changing again, I guess out of fear that I’ll go back up. I stopped smoking a couple days ago and I’m back to no appetite. I’m guessing I may be worried that there’s the start of an obsession about to form. But I feel like I could do this for a while before things get bad. But I’m scared I won’t recognize it when it does get bad. But for now I’ll enjoy feeling “healthy” in my body. I do feel pretty good. More energetic, I can breathe better, move better. I want to keep seeing these results.

Can’t listen in the car.

Because of the trope that distractible causes wrecks… my ocd has not let me listen to podcasts in the car. My brain tells me because it’s been spoken it will be true. So no distractible on my hour long commute every day for me. Superstitious?

Addressing Donuts character

Is she gonna be like Garfield? Or like space jam? What’s the vibe with how donut will be portrayed?

Doing too much.

This new episode has me thinking of my own answers. I’m hoping for people to share theirs. For me, star patches. I’d rather just see the pimple on your face. You’re at work. You’re at school. You’re just showcasing your pimple with a big colorful star.

Tell me if I’m justified and tell me yours!!
