Title is pretty self-explanatory, but for how obsessed the watch community is with specs and value for money you’d think Cartier would be avoided as they’re primarily fashion first and functionality last. Taking the santos for example, it’s a $9000 watch out the door for a movement with an accuracy as good as a $800 automatic Seiko. Typically, if it were any other brand posting such a high price for such a bad movement they’d be relentlessly berated by the community. Perhaps the watch community cares more about brand name than they let on? Who knows, still a cool watch though.

There’s been 5+ rep related posts in this sub within the last 24 hours and I for one am so over it. There’s no discussion to be had. You bought a $500 Chinese WhatsApp Rolex and walk around pretending to be something your not. You’re a loser. Grow some balls and buy a real watch within your actual budget and wear it with pride.

It just gets stuck on the Spotify logo you see right when opening the app. All other apps function perfectly. Any advice?

We get it, you’re different because you don’t like the most popular watch company in the world. Nobody cares. There doesn’t need to be 10 different posts on this sub a week about how you think Rolex is trash and __ company is better. Just buy the watch you like and move on. It’s seriously pathetic to go through different watch subs to explore options and people just can’t help but compare themselves to Rolex. You aren’t going to sway anyone away from Rolex by doing that. If I want a submariner, I’m going to get a fucking submariner and no matter how much you exclaim __ watch is better or better value will change my mind.

Sincerely, someone that doesn’t own a Rolex and probably will never own one.
