EY9 to Ord

Looking to upgrade the AUH-ORD leg, bidding starts at 2400 dollars goes upto 8000 dollars

Flight is on 21st

Is it likely for the price to go down? What’s a good average price? Haven’t upgraded before, should I wait till the check in counter?

Is this a realistic plan

I’m currently doing my undergrad in a T10 business school in the us. I am graduating next May. I’m thinking of doing a 1 year masters right after. I know most apps are due end of the year ( targeting top finance / quant management programs in schools like uchicago, northwestern, duke, nyu, Columbia etc )

I understand this is MBA India, but more than us schools I just want to understand what sort of preparation will go into it since gmat is same everywhere right

I wasted the summer, now I need to give either gmat or gre to apply to grad school. Is it realistic to get a sufficient score by preparing for a couple months ? I am going to be a full time senior in college, 18 credit hours + a job.

I can auto enroll for masters in my current uni but I wanna go somewhere better now

How’s your experience been with either of the exams? Is my plan of studying for 2 months and then applying to grad school right after too much of a stretch?

Weight stall? Not sure if I’m doing it correctly

19F at 154 cm
I have been (80/20) consistent with gym and diet for the last 2ish months, exactly a month back I took body measurements and today again nothing has really seemed to move. Weight has dropped over the weeks, but now i feel it’s just water weight - last week has been somewhat stuck on the scale too.

I am lifting 4-5x a week, getting 8-10k steps in too, with a fairly controlled diet - so overall I feel I am in a deficit.

Now I know one month isn’t a super long time but I’m still confused whether I should change what I am doing or stick it out longer

Heavy weights or more reps

21F, lot of fat around arms and lower body and I am just 5”1

Main goal right now is to lose excess body fat and look thin/ lean

I do strength training 4-5x a week. Now essentially I have always been told / seen try racking up weight
For eg, I start with the lowest weight and work my way up through the exercise ( however the number of reps go down )

Now ik this sounds stupid but I have watched insta reels and some people have told me otherwise too. For women, since majority of them don’t watch huge muscles and actually wanna look thin and toned, burning more calories should be their bigger focus - hence lighter weights with more reps makes more sense ?

What do u guys think? Someone essentially trying to make themselves toned and reduce excess body fat.

It’s bad - what else can I do? 19F started at 60.5kg

20F - 153 cm

Weight has dropped from 60.5 to 58.5

Health has taken a toll in college.

I’m trying very hard to change my lifestyle what more can I do?

- Currently weight lifting 4-5x a week ( about 5 exercises into 3 )
- walking roughly 7-8k steps a day
- alternate days playing pickleball ( I know not the most intense support but nevertheless )
- gym cardio is something I slack on, it just gets really boring and I can never make it past 7-8 mins

For diet

- trying to eat around 1300-1400 calories a day
- some days I might eat 1600 but some days I just eat 1000 ( idk sometimes just don’t feel hungry )
- protein I guess should be around 100-110 but usually at 80ish grams

Is not hitting protein going to have a significant impact ? Also fibre on the lower ends, trying to work on that.

Is there something I should do differently? Should I get another scan to see my progress since it’s been over a month. Also going back to college next month, any tips to avoid junk.

What should my deficit be?

I’m a 19F at 60 kgs at 5”1 height
My body report says
My body report says my basal metabolic rate is 1140 cals
And recommended intake is 1435 cals

I am trying to cut down to atleast 54 kilos - the same report says I need to lose 13 kg of fat and gain 3 kg of muscle

I go to the gym 5x a week and try to hit 8-10k steps a day

What should be my calorie / protein intake ?

Am I doing it right?

I’m 19F - 5”1 and 60 kgs
I used to be a skinny child - so it’s not exactly in the genes but I have been struggling with weight since covid started, lost some in between but then gained it back again. I m home for summer break for 2 months - and I’m trying to get back into habit so that when I go back to college it maintains.

I did a BCa, and body fat is 40% - which is terrible

I have started strength training 4-5x a week, and hitting 10k steps.

It’s getting hard to be under deficit and hit protein goals tho. I am targeting around 1300-1400 calories a day and 110 g of protein - I eat non veg and take whey, but I’m not a fan of how chicken really tastes, my issue is not enough calories more like I end up going out with friends / I feel hungry so I ending up eating junk.

Majority of my fat is stored in my back hips and lower abdomen with some on shoulder too. My main idea right now is to lose visible fat - is strength training the way or should I do cardio ?

I want suggestions on how to get consistent, reach my goals faster ? And just overall be fit and thinner, the BCA rest said I need to lose 13kgs of fat and add 3 kgs of muscle.

Any help will be good.

Student fair is a scam?

I am trying to book a round trip from India to us for Aug-Dec

I have flown with Qatar before and am a part of their student club - which entitles me to a 15% discount

Without discount the fare for economy is $1740
And with discount it is 1684

What sort of a 15% is this? Am I missing something

American uni -> Deloitte

I’m starting my last year of undergrad in the us - studying finance + data analytics. I want to start working in India but have no real pathway to Deloitte India since campus placements / internships aren’t an option for me. How should I go about finding a full time job and when should I start searching? Im interested in consulting / analytics / advisory, I will be graduating in May 2027.

Intl student job hunting

Hi, I’m a final year undergrad student in the us studying finance and data analysis. I want to break into high finance roles in India, but I have heard not being here geographically is a big disadvantage.

Those who have experience

When should I start applying to big MNCs like jpmc and how should I go about it since on campus hiring is not an option. I’m looking for finance / consulting roles - since I am starting my career no real specialisation yet

Opt framework for next year

I’m an undergrad student majoring in finance and Data analytics graduating in May 2027. When is the right time to start searching for full time jobs? I don’t have a window for junior year internship since I’m graduating early. So people with experience, how early out should I start job hunting and what has worked out for you ? Will smaller more intl recruitment likely firms be hiring one year in advance ? Also at what point should I start applying to jobs oversees ( europe Middle East Asia )

Any help would be great!
