The Aspirant Who Refused to Give Up
He had a dream — to clear the UPSC Civil Services Examination and serve the country.
He studied for months, sacrificed his comfort, stayed away from distractions, and gave everything he had. But when the result came, his name was not there.
He failed.
For a while, he felt that maybe he was not capable enough. People around him started asking questions. Some told him to move on. Some quietly judged him. And slowly, he began questioning himself.
But failure taught him something success never could — one failed attempt does not make a person a failure.
He looked back at his mistakes. He improved his strategy, strengthened his basics, worked on his weaknesses, and started again.
This time, he wasn't studying just to prove something to others. He was studying because he still believed in himself.
The journey was still difficult. There were bad days, self-doubt, financial pressure, loneliness and countless moments when quitting seemed easier than continuing.
But he kept going.
Because sometimes success doesn't come to the person who is the most talented. It comes to the person who is still standing when everyone else has stopped.
One day, his result finally came.
His name was on the list.
He smiled—not because he had finally defeated the examination, but because he had defeated the version of himself that once believed he couldn't do it.
Failure was not the end of his story. It was the chapter that made his success meaningful.
And that is the story I want to write for myself too.
I may be late. I may have failed before. But I am not finished yet.
“SSC CGL is not just an exam; it is a test of your patience, discipline, and determination. Keep studying even when you feel tired, keep trying even after failure, and keep believing when nobody else does. One day, your hard work will turn into your success story.”

SSC CGL: How Transparent Is the Competition?
SSC CGL attracts lakhs of aspirants every year, but one important question deserves more attention: How transparent is the recruitment process?
Candidates invest years preparing for the exam, so shouldn't they have complete clarity about vacancies, normalization, cut-offs, answer keys, and the final selection process?
When the competition is this intense, even a small lack of transparency can create huge doubts among aspirants.
Should SSC provide more detailed information at every stage of the selection process?
In a competition where one or two marks can decide a career, transparency isn't a luxury—it is a necessity
Competitive Exams
Are competitive exams becoming too stressful for Indian students?
Every year, lakhs of students prepare for competitive exams, often spending 2–3 years or even more. The competition is huge, vacancies are limited, and one exam can sometimes feel like it decides your entire career.
What worries me is that many students stop exploring other career options because they believe that clearing one particular exam is the only way to be successful.
I’m curious to know what others think:
Is the problem with the competitive exam system itself, or with the pressure we as a society put on these exams?
